Alishan Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Fenland District

I had a deeply disappointing experience here at Alishan Indian Restaurant. Despite coming with the hope of enjoying authentic Indian cuisine, the behavior of one of the waiters left a sour impression.

From the start, the waiter displayed a rude attitude, making us feel unwelcome. It felt as though he was judging us, as if we couldn’t afford to eat there, which was both insulting and unprofessional. Worse, he and his colleagues were openly talking about us, which was incredibly disrespectful.

The service felt rushed and impatient. When we tried to take our time ordering, we were pressured to decide quickly. Adding to this, the Coca-Cola we were served was not cold and tasted off. When we requested a replacement, instead of handling it gracefully, the waiter’s attitude worsened. He condescendingly offered a free can of drink, implying that we would eat or drink anything if it was free.

Ultimately, we felt so uncomfortable that we had to cancel our order and leave. This was not the dining experience we expected, and it was deeply disheartening.

As fellow Indians, we expected warmth and hospitality, not judgment and poor treatment. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and provides better training to their staff. No customer should have to endure...

normally excellent food and and nearly always ready at stated time: However 2/05/2020 order veg biryani and chicken biryani which was woefully the food was cold when collected the veg curry was container was only half full in each meal and was so thick that it failed to pour ! , the chicken contents was three nugget size portions my humble view was that it was probably cooked at some point on friday and reheated prior to collection on sat night especially as the normal sounds of a kitchen working was not in evidence . i appreciate these are extremely challenging times for business but my advice for people is to avoid until lockdown is over a shame for a business with normally...

I had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant. I went in expecting to enjoy a meal, but I never even got to eat because of how terrible the customer service was. From the moment I walked in, the staff seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. I stood at the entrance for several minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, and when they finally did, it was with an attitude that made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by being.
