The Exchange — Restaurant in Fenland District

Went to the Exchange for a quite group meal with friends, as someone with Coeliac disease I require gluten free food. Ordered a platter which came with focaccia bread, I didn’t know you could get gluten free versions of this so we queried it to be told it was all gluten free. Ordered some other tapas bits too also told gluten free, wasn’t until the mains came out I realised the started was not gluten free, the server assuming the manager denied the fact we’d double checked for gluten free and hid from me for the duration of our visit. This afternoon my daughter, friend and myself went for afternoon tea and we were not disappointed. My friend chose a prawn salad that looked appetising and very fresh. My daughter a vegan had a superb selection for her afternoon tea, I had a regular afternoon tea that did not disappoint. Sandwiches were so fresh and so tasty. Whilst waiting for our food we asked for gin and tonics with ice, lemon, cucumber and mint and our waitress was lovely. very much looking forward to my next visit to try something else on the menu as it all...

Just had Xmas party menu. Not had tapas before and have to say food was nice but not enough of it! There were 6 of us and only had 4 pieces of chicken 4 calamarys 1 meatball dish etc so had to cut them up for us all to try and enjoy! Cheese and crackers also on the light side! Had to ask for more crackers and only 4 pieces of cheese for 6 healthy appetites! Disappointed at the portions and the desserts looked as if they had been thrown on the plate in a hurry!
