Firstly, the pastries were very good. The blackcurrant cruffin was delicious — lovely balance of flavors and very good laminated pastry. The morning bun was ok, the dough was nice as was the cinnamon and orange flavor. However, it was smothered in such a thick crust of sugar I could barely taste anything else. Unfortunately, the service let us down quite a bit as well. We waited over 15 minutes for a cappuccino and a flat white despite the shop not being overly busy. Eventually we simply asked for the coffees to go because we’d already finished our pastries. The coffee was very nice once we got them though. Lastly, there was no indication of what the menu items were or allergen information. Some little tags on the front of the pastry case with the names of the menu items and their ingredients/components would go a long way. Both for informing customer decisions and speeding along the line. FOH would no longer need to run through the menu verbally with each customer. Overall, a decent experience but it could have been better. I’ll still speak highly of the pastries but wouldn’t...
Read moreI have never posted a google review before, but the pastries at folk were so delicious i felt moved to share one here. We were in Enniskillen for just 2 nights and popped in on our way out of town—I wish we'd thought to come in sooner! We had the morning bun and the wild garlic twist, both some of the finest executed bakes i've ever had—the bun was remarkably tender and flavorful, and the pastry on the wild garlic treat was beautifully flaky. The coffee was excellent as well, and the service and atmosphere great. Truly world class, wish i could have brought the whole pastry case back to new...
Read moreCalled into here while visiting Enniskillen one morning. Everything was delicious, freshly made and really high quality. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable and the coffee was great. There were no menu/prices/descriptions on anything (that I could see) so when the bill came to almost £20 for two coffees and two pastries, it was a bit of a surprise - prices are what I’d expect somewhere like central London or Dublin, not Enniskillen! Definitely an expensive option but if you fancy a treat, the selection on...
