The Thaikitchen — Restaurant in Fermanagh and Omagh District

Had a takeaway from here this week and have never had any issues in the past. The food used to be of higher quality. Unfortunately, their prices have gone up about 20% on most dishes based on the last menu I have from them just a few months ago. This unfortunately has not led to continued high quality. The curries we got were very watery in consistency and one was now £10.50 not including the extra you have to pay for any rice you get now. After a long road trip, we were lucky to finally find dinner at the Thai Kitchen. It was nearly 10 PM, and we’d already tried seven other places with no success. Thankfully, the friendly staff welcomed us in despite the late hour. We ordered the chili chicken with fried egg noodles and the prawn red curry with egg fried rice—both dishes were absolutely delicious. While the spot mostly caters to takeaway, we managed to grab a table and enjoy our meal there.

I love rice dishes and I right fancied one of the four on offer here. I went for the Thai Herb rice at £7.50. It was lovely, exactly what I needed after a few beers. Couple of young girls serving were so pleasant. I’d asked for a knife and fork, as we were taking it back to a hotel room with no eating facilities.
