Wedding Catering When planning our wedding, we knew the food would be one of the most talked-about parts of the day, and thanks to Horseshoe and Saddlers, led by the incredible Norman and his amazing team, it absolutely was. From start to finish, they delivered a catering experience that was professional, memorable, and faultless.

We hosted a relaxed BBQ on the Thursday before our wedding to welcome our guests, and Saddlers handled everything from the set-up to the final clear-down with absolute ease and confidence. Norman and his team arrived early, smiling, organised, and ready to go. The atmosphere they created was warm, welcoming, and relaxed, exactly what we wanted for the night before our big day.

The food was nothing short of spectacular. The meats were cooked perfectly, juicy, tender, and full of flavour. There were burgers, ribs, chicken, and sausages, all served fresh off the grill and replenished regularly. The sides were equally impressive, fresh salads, amazing rice, coleslaw, bread rolls, and a great selection of sauces and accompaniments. They also catered effortlessly for vegetarians, ensuring everyone felt considered.

Our guests could not stop talking about how good everything tasted, it was generous, delicious, and served with real pride. You could tell the team loved what they were doing, and that energy elevated the whole evening.

On the wedding day itself, Saddlers were back and somehow managed to outdo the night before. The grand buffet was, in a word, stunning. The presentation was elegant and inviting, the service was seamless, and the food, once again, was impeccable.

Norman and his team took care of everything behind the scenes so we could focus on our guests. Every tray was perfectly timed, every dish full of flavour, and every guest completely satisfied. The buffet selection was beautifully varied, curry dishes, salmon, carbonara, seasonal vegetables, boiled potatoes, fresh salads, and an array of sides and sauces that tied it all together. There was something for everyone, and everything was top restaurant quality.

The attention to detail was second to none. The team made sure everything stayed hot, fresh, and well stocked, while remaining almost invisible in the background — professional, calm, and efficient.

What made Saddlers truly exceptional was not just the quality of the food, but the quality of the people. Norman is a credit to his craft. He was calm, friendly, and completely in control throughout. You could tell immediately that you were dealing with someone who knows weddings inside and out. Nothing was too much trouble, and he made sure every element ran smoothly, adapting as needed without ever breaking a sweat.

His team mirrored his energy. They were courteous, polite, quick on their feet, and clearly proud of the work they were doing. It felt like having a small army of professionals in the background quietly making everything perfect.

We have had guests message us in the week since just to comment on the food alone, not just that it was good, but that it was among the best they had ever had at any wedding. That is entirely down to Norman and Saddlers.

We genuinely could not fault a single thing. From the relaxed BBQ vibes to the polished and elevated wedding buffet, everything was delivered with quality, care, and expertise. It takes real skill to feed a large group so flawlessly and even more skill to make it look easy.

Despite the challenges of working with a bridal couple that lived in a time zone seven hours away, everything came together perfectly, and we could not have been more thrilled with the result.
