After visiting this establishment for years, which we would enjoy our lunch even though we would put up with the cold in the winter because there was no heating in the cafe, however on our last visit and being on a diet l asked if l could order a salad with tuna, the two assistants behind the counter both got confused by my request, they then asked the owner if they could do a salad with Tuna, and his response was to pull a face and tell me we don't do salads with a face that could break a mirror....now as regular customers he sells jacket potatoes with salad and with tuna,so what was the problem with tuna salad,so l cancelled my mother's order and we left, and as we left there was no apology from the owner, because he seems more worried about messing about with the youngsters he employs,so we went down the street to the sunshine cafe where were its lovely and warm and we had a great salad, just make sure if you go to the Le Cafe Ganmac wear your thermals, and go in there at lunch time when...

When I visited , I presumed I was going into a funeral. You’d find more cheer in a graveyard. Staff looked bored and decrepit , no atmosphere , or joyful welcome, nothing. No music or radio playing, it was as painful and dismal as the aging decor. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day! The saving grace was the food, thankfully no fake cheese on my mates toastie, & my breakfast was spot on. Down side, personal preference. Individual butters, melted on arrival, and all be it accidentally, tossed on the table. Not good! Also, when asking for extra napkins, these where rationed , as only receiving one, then when asking for another, got a stare that only my late Nan gave when I asked for her last Ferrero Roche.

Thanks for the hospitality, Just historically for me, working on building sites and going to cafes & such - This cafe stood out, and as unwelcome as this review will be, I think it’s a fair review of what was on...

Great staff; kind, helpful and polite. Always has people in from the moment they open, mixture of locals and people off the street. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. I ordered 'All Day Breakfast' a few times when I stayed in Folkestone and it was delicious, freshly cooked, hot and done just right. Latte was nice and hot too, not always the case in a lot of places. Highly recommend.

This coffee shop may not look like much from outside, but once you step through the door, you're in for a treat! Conveniently located on Folkestone high street, this spot serves up fantastic coffee and tasty breakfast options. The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like home.
