This restaurant is about 200 yards or so from the sea front. We found parking immediately outside the restaurant, which was great. We ordered our meal at the counter from a very limited menu. They had run out of plain prawn crackers so we ordered a plain and chilli mixed version. I asked for variation in the Thai red curry but they said that was not possible as it is made in the morning and reheated as required, The server advised us there was a 25 minute wait before the food would be served. I was asked to pickup a holdall containing sauces and cutlery with a table number written on a wooden spoon. There was choice of sitting at a large table in that restaurant with a high stool or sit next door at a pub. As the stool looked rather uncomfortable, we decided to sit at a high table in the pub, a most unusual arrangement. The stool was comfortable but the rectangular table was very sticky indeed to the touch. We has to place 2 menus each on the table to give us some resting place.
The food came 25 minutes later served in a metal plate with black edging. The noodle dish and the red vegetarian curry dishes were substantial, piping hot and tasty. We asked for and were served chilli flakes and sliced red chillies. Enjoyed the 🍴 meal if not the...

As this seems to be the town's go-to Asian eatery, stopped in here after the lunch crowd went their merry way. My take: warm greeting, inviting atmosphere. I'm more of a fan of rice, so went with a fried rice with tofu & mushrooms, with a fried egg. great selection of chili sauces & sambals +assumed they would provide crackers as part of the £13.50 meal but my request was met with the reply it would be an additional £2.50! No thanks; I only wanted like 3 to crush over my food. Rice was ok but the peppers were way too big for fried rice. Not to my taste. Once is...
Read moreMy good chum took me along here as he and his wife had been before and wanted to share the delights within.
The staff were very approachable and the open kitchen meant you could see and smell all the amazing stuff they were cooking.
I had a large red Thai curry with rice, you can then add your own toppings and sauces as you see fit.
The food is all served in recyclable packaging and the cutlery is wooden, which is always a plus for me.
Very tasty food, but very busy when we visited, so took the opportunity to have a walk along the sea front.
Highly recommend if you want some delicious food in a...
