On 15/06/2025 12:00 pm we went there at order our food. The blonde hair waitress took our order, we ordered full English breakfast and chicken baguette and still water ( which I told her room temperature).she didn’t even conform our order. Then after another waitress gave us tap water with ice. I told her we ordered still water, she went back and gave us sparkling water, again I told her that we ordered a still water she went back and gave us sparkling water twice , then she chat with her colleague and I clearly saw one waitress who took out order with blonde hair rolled her eyes and make moody face. If waitress have confused about our order they have to conform on our table, but they didn’t did that. Just opposite they make moody face towards us.

After finished our food we went to pay on front but that guy told us don’t shout my staff.. just pay and go, he told us very rudely .. I was shocked, I didn’t even shout their staff. The mistake is they didn’t conformed our order and gave is wrong water again and again. The issue is just water but the staff didn’t know the difference between still water, tap water and sparking water..

The front guy who is doing billing didn’t even listen us, he just saying go go go go very very rudely.

Teach your waitress carefully before ruined someone’s...

I stopped by for lunch and noticed the place was quite busy, which is typical for that time of day. Luckily, I found a seat right away. After looking over the menu, I thought the prices were reasonable, so I decided to order the Big Ben burger, a large coffee, and a rocky horror dessert.

Even though the restaurant was crowded, my main meal arrived quickly, and I really appreciated that. The burger was not only visually appealing but also tasted great. As for the dessert, I wasn’t sure if it was just me, but it seemed a little dry for a fudge cake. Still had a slug of coffee to wash it down with.

The staff was friendly, although I noticed they weren’t smiling as much as customers might expect. Having worked in the restaurant industry before, I totally get why they might not have been overly cheerful. They served me quickly and efficiently, but I did feel like as soon as I finished my meal, they were right there to take my plate away, which made it seem like they wanted me to leave so they could make room for more customers. Again, I understand they were busy, but it felt...

Enjoyed the atmosphere, attentive staff. Did not enjoy the food. Very poor vegan selection. In absence of much else I asked for a chicken, avocado and pesto sandwich without the chicken. I asked for no dairy butter, but any oil would be appreciated. I was told there was veg oil, but didn't get any. The sandwich was dry. There wasn't much filling, it didn't fill me up much. Not much avocado or pesto.

I had a coconut hot chocolate and coconut latte. I didn't enjoy the hot chocolate (not for the coconut, just the powder that was used), and the coffee wasn't too pleasant, quite strong.

Other than that, good service.

I would have given them feedback while I was there, but I tend to forget, I tried to call but the phone number listed doesn't work, and the website is defunkt. The rest of the web seems to have the same...

A very nice cafe, good service & food. I bought American pancakes with cherries & ice cream (I had the option of choosing whipped cream instead). There were three pancakes in the stack with plenty of cherries. I also bought a lemonade, the total cost was ÂŁ11.80 which felt fair for the quality & size of the portion. They also have customer toilets which were clean & very stylishly designed. If you found this review helpful, please click on the heart icon, thanks.

We have seen this restaurant a few times when visiting Hythe. Today we decided to have breakfast and were not disappointed. However, only 4 stars though as I thought this was an expensive treat. I had double sausage and egg muffin with hashbrown, Hubbie had late breakfast (fried bread, with fried egg, bacon, sausage and mushrooms. With 2 mochaccino total was ÂŁ16 (yikes).
