On sunday night they phoned me to Cancel my order because of paying cash, I asked if it was to do with covid and a member of staff said "no its not" then stated we don't believe your going to pay" I accepted the order was cancelled but I wanted to tell him why I was paying cash... It was because it was my 30th birthday and I live in a mental health unit and they were paying for my takeaway as a treat.. and the member of staff said to me he didn't believe me, then basically had a go, very very rude and I will not be ordering from them again..... Just because he has had a bad day at work doesn't mean he can treat someone like that, and I fully understand that they had a lot of high orders cancelled that day but we all shouldn't be put in the same catagory as the people cancelling their orders, my friend phoned them and told them what for as he was discusted with the way the staff had spoken to me as they had me in tears and they ordered again and they sent it straight away and had the nerve to say so I hear its your birthday congrats... I felt like saying excuse me but you called me a liar before... But just very rude quick to judge and not happy with them at all.... If I could score zero...

we are front line care workers ordering on Uber eats. we have waited and waited for this order to be told it has been cancelled as the driver has gone missing. i rang Mcguires to inform them and ask what is going on This man was very snotty saying it wasn't his problem about what happend. i asked if we could get the same order again and pick it up to his response no! as its to much for them. i hung up the phone disgraced for him to ring me back going on about GDPR law saying he doesn't have my number even though he rang me back. then carried on to argue with me all we cared about was our food and if we could even have the same order and pay for it again. he had no manners and wasnt helpful in the slightest we will never use this service again...

The staff here don't know if they are coming or going. I have had issues at least ten orders in a row. When it finally turns up, over an hour late. And on 3 occasions sent to the wrong address. They always send the wrong food or miss items off. When you call to complain they don't care. They blame each other, and shout about it, but do nothing to rectify the situation. They tell you it will be at least another hour if you want your missing items! So in effect they take payment for goods you never recieve. The driver is so rude. They just basically try and fob you off. Well I will never order again after tonight. A shame as the food its...
