Visited on the 28th of Oct. We spent a long time staring at the menu at the entrance unable to decide what we wanted but knowing we really wanted to eat here. Someone who I assume is the owner came over and offered to help us decide. He asked us a few questions to help make recommendations without being pushy. He was genuinely so excited to be able to help and guide us through the menu.I have never received such excellent customer service from someone so genuinely excited and happy to be there in some time. It was endearing and certainly one of the shining stars of this location. Now to the food. The menu is exclusively vegetarian, authentic and varied. As a meat eater, I did not miss having meat as an option and neither will you. The prices are very reasonable especially for the location. The food was so tasty I nearly forgot to take pictures and only remembered after we started eating. We had: A triple cheese tostie which came with a small portion of chips and a sauce. This was delicious and filling and although probably one of the most basic items on their menu it was delicious. The paneer cheese wrap was probably the best wrap I have ever eaten. The cheese was perfectly cooked, the veggies fresh and tasty and the sauces made it taste amazing. It has a spice that sneaks up on you but isn't uncomfortable, honestly could have not asked for a more balanced spice level. We also got waffle sticks which come with hazelnut chocolate topping and a side of vanila ice-cream. The waffle is freshly made, perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The toppings go perfectly together leveling out the sweetnest and is a perfect ending to a lovely lunch. While we only sampled a small part of their menu we want to go back for more because everything was delicious. They also offer authentic drinks and other snacks. The decorations are really fun and pretty and gives the place a great atmosphere. Table service is a welcomed surprise as well. This really is a little hidden gem in the metro centre and I would recomend everyone tries it...

If you’re looking for a hidden gem that serves a perfect blend of flavors, look no further than Sweet Taste Café. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The star of the show here, however, is undoubtedly the food.

The desserts are simply divine—each one a sweet masterpiece. Whether you’re indulging in delicate pastries or traditional Indian sweets, every bite is a delightful experience. The gulab jamun is a standout, soft and syrupy with the right amount of sweetness that never feels overwhelming.

But what truly sets this place apart is its variety of Indian snacks. Freshly prepared, crispy samosas, flavorful pakoras, and chatpati pani puri are just a few of the mouthwatering options that transport your taste buds straight to the streets of India. The spices are perfectly balanced, and the chutneys add an extra layer of authenticity that elevates every dish.

And then there’s the tea. If you’re a tea lover, this café will become your new favorite spot. The masala chai is rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced—just like you’d find in a bustling Indian market. Whether you prefer it strong and bold or lightly sweetened, it’s the ideal companion to any meal or dessert.

The service is always friendly and attentive, making it clear that every guest is treated like family. For anyone craving a delightful combination of sweet treats, savory snacks, and exceptional tea, Sweet Taste Café is an absolute must-visit. It’s an experience you’ll want to savor...

"I had the pleasure of dining at Street taste Metrocentrein London, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I stepped in, I was transported to the vibrant streets of India. The aroma of exotic spices and the warm hospitality of the staff made me feel right at home.

The menu was a love letter to Indian cuisine, with a range of options starting from Pani Puri (Golgappe ), burgers, Dabeli, Chaat to suit every palate.

What truly sets Street taste Metrocentr apart is its commitment to authenticity. The chefs use only the freshest ingredients, sourced from local markets whenever possible, to create dishes that are both innovative and traditional.

Mr.Mayur Patel owner of this beautiful place is a down to earth person who on finding I am Indian came to meet and meet me and ensures we don't feel homely. I was amazed to see such an hospitality outside india. There I found Indian Auto Rikshow, this draw me back to my childhood days. Interior was also fantastic, with traditional Indian music playing in the background.

In short, Street taste Metrocentr is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine in London. You can find even Jain and swaminarayan food on demand being an Veg restaurant.I can't wait to go back and try more of their...

Authentic Indian Street Food Experience at Street Taste, Metrocentre Gateshead Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Street Taste restaurant at Metrocentre in Gateshead with my family, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. We tried a variety of items, including sugar cane juice, sev puri, special kachori chaat, vada pav, and fresh jamun ice cream. Every dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and true to authentic Indian street food standards. The spiciness was just right – bold and satisfying, exactly how it should be! The highlight was the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Each bite was delicious, and you could tell that great care went into preparing every item. The jamun ice cream was a perfect finish – refreshing and unique. I would highly recommend Street Taste to anyone looking for an authentic Indian street food experience in the North East.
