Ok. So let me say before I start, that my overwhelming feeling having visited Chuck Burgers tonight is that I'll never get that 2 hours or 27 quid back. Four of us had booked a table. There was a nicely busy atmosphere but there were two uncleaned vacant tables just by the door. Doesn't set a great scene. Our waitress was lovely. Very nice manner but the systems to make waiting efficient dont seem to be in place. Having received our food we had to ask for cuttlery. This may sound petty but this is an EXPENSIVE burger bar. Nice choices of drinks but overpriced. Now let me tell you about the food. You choose from various burger options and possible sides. I had Bandito Bean. A veggie option. It was fine. The skin on fries were quite nice but at 3.50 a pop quite expensive for the portion size. The other side option is literally a chunk of iceberg with your chosen dressing dropped from a great height onto the lettuce/plate and that costs a whopping £6.40. Now a whole iceberg at most is a quid and i reckon they get 8 chunks. Do the math. Definitely not worth the money. My friends all had meat options. Two had Miss Piggy. One was luke warm - maybe it had waited too long at the pass and one had bits of gristle. Blah! All the beef components are medium rare and really quite pink. Nowhere does the menu tell you this or give you an option to choose how your burger is cooked. The last of our main courses was the Devil Bacon Burger. To their credit this arrived with crispy Bacon as requested but the burger was VERY pink. It was speedily recooked at our request but the cow component had turned into pig when it came back. They'd cooked the wrong burger! We won't be going back. I'd imagine if things don't improve no-one will be going back because they won't stay open long. I must say though, one if our party is dairy and gluten free and this was provided for with ease. As a venue it has scope. They are probably right to have a simple menu but a simple menu should be served brilliantly - well cooked, tasty, correct and warm. The grills are on show for goodness sake so they weren't even coming from a kitchen. If you have a positive experience here, do write a review to counteract this...

My husband and I came in to chucks today for lunch this afternoon. We had a look at the menu ahead of time and were really looking forward to the promise of "A burger like no other"
Sadly I left chucks extremely disappointed about the experience we had at the restaurant this afternoon.
Where do I start as to what went wrong?
I ordered the Buffalo Blue chicken burger which cost £10.70. My husband ordered the Miss Piggy pulled pork and beef burger also at £10.70 We thought we would treat ourselves to loaded fries with smoked brisket £7.20 Obviously we both had drinks I had the pint of coke at £4.49 and my husband had the pink lemonade priced at £2.99. All this came to £36.08!!! Safe to say I was expecting a decent hearty meal for that price!
The drinks and the food are massively overpriced! When the food came I was really disappointed about the portion and quality of the food. The buns for both the burgers were burnt, the chicken burger was dry and the American cheese and pineapple was missing from the burger itself. My husband's Miss Piggy burger was described as mediocre at best and wasn't the promised burger like no other. As for the loaded fries, what's so loaded about it? The portion was less than a hand full and the "brisket" was nothing more than small slithers of tough steak for £7.20 I expectted way more and the amount of salt poured onto them was ridiculous! You've definitely made a profit on this particular menu item.
It was very hard to have a conversation as the music was so loud we had to shout to get an order in. Nobody came to check if the food was okay and when the food was delivered it was just dumped on the table and they walked off without checking if we needed anything else.
We will not be visiting again and will not be recommending...

I recently dined at a restaurant, and unfortunately, I must say that the experience left much to be desired. The food, in particular, was quite disappointing. The fried chicken I ordered was excessively greasy, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. Additionally, the burger I tried had a strong burnt flavor, which was evident from the charred grill marks on the patty.
The service at the restaurant was lackluster as well. The staff seemed disinterested and tired, lacking the enthusiasm and attentiveness one would expect. What bothered me even more was that the same person who welcomed guests also took on the role of a cook, without wearing a cap or taking any precautions in the kitchen. This lack of hygiene and proper kitchen practices was quite concerning.
In order to stay competitive, I believe the restaurant needs to put in significant effort and improvement. The quality of the food should be enhanced, ensuring that it is cooked to perfection and not excessively greasy. The staff should be motivated and well-trained, providing exceptional service to guests. Additionally, it is crucial for the establishment to prioritize hygiene and safety in the kitchen, with staff adhering to proper protocols at all times.
Overall, my experience at this restaurant was below expectations. While there is potential for improvement, it is clear that there is much work to be done in order to become more competitive in the...
