DeliGreek — Restaurant in Gloucester

Ordered Gyros sandwich and a frappe and a diet coke. Gyros was already made up in the chiller which surprised me to start with. When brought to our table after a few bites found it cold in the middle so asked them to heat up some more and also no fries in it which makes it a Gyros in my eyes. Once returned was hotter but again found cold further down. Pitta bread had gone crispy and a little hard but we ate it as could not see the point in asking again. On leaving we were asked if the food was OK and hot enough and my partner advised it was still cold in parts. We were told we could not heat it up anymore due to the paper wrapped around it. Could they have not unwrapped it or maybe cooking it fresh? Bit disappointed as I really was expecting a proper Gyros but will go to their sister restaurant Greek on the Docks or The Real Greek...

A genuinely wonderful experience, well worth the 10 minute walk from the centre of town, bypassing the usual assortment of coffee shops and cafes. Serving up a extensive range of authentic Greek savouries and sweets. I could never get bored eating here. And once you have eaten, do visit the deli, it is amazing. If it wasn't for the fact that I do not live in Gloucester, I would have seriously stocked up on freezer goods. And to top it all off, I was served by Yanni, a wonderful Athenian lady. Her passion for life and everything blue & white is amazing. Athen's loss is certainly Gloucester's gain. This place deserves to be...

I absolutely love the place Music just on point Servece was magnificent and the food was just a dream

Honestly I have being here twice with my friends and it’s and will be my escape place when I need a good food and relaxing atmosphere

They also have a shop connected with it and it’s a dream of options and taste of their cuisine

I highly recommend this place
