Came here numerous times and loved it!
The staff were absolutely fantastic, welcoming and very friendly. A big shout out and huge thank you to you all... Nick (a real legend), Connor (manager..nudge nudge, wink, wink...say no more 🤫😉), Millie, Bailey, Louisa and Jovan (this fragrance is named after you "Jovan Musk for Men"..a real classic, try it).
You are all stars and your boss/the owner has some real gems of people in all of you, well done all...!! 👊👏👏
What a fantastic place and their burgers and pizzas looked so delicious too. Maybe next time we'll pop over for a lunch or dinner and have one of these.... I guess the staff got to know me after a few visits and even took my better half for a wee Rhubarb and Ginger gin which she absolutely loved! (All these gins are made at their Gloucester Brewery and Gin Distillery)
What great real ales and first proper cask ales I've had in a very long time. Their Gloucester Brewery and Fox Gin distillery is a short walk away over the bridge on the other side of the docks basin. Definitely worth a visit as you can buy all the ales or gin at the Brewery shop. (A visit to here is a must!)
The only other inhouse and onsite Brewery I know of is in Market Drayton, Shropshire.
I had the Cascade Red ale which was great and fresh: Gloucester Brewery – Cascade – 4.2% – Red
Bold aroma of spicy & floral hops over a perfectly balanced biscuit malt base
But my absolute favourite is the Dockside Dark Porter!! Gloucester Brewery - Dockside Dark – 5.2% – Porter
Velvety smooth and subtly sweet award-winning porter with a gorgeous aroma of coffee, chocolate and dark fruits.
I highly recommend this pub, restaurant, Brewery....the decor throughout is stunning and so vibrant and with it, no stuffy or dated decor here at all... Thanks to YOU ALL for making us and me especially feel totally welcomed and so at home... Amazing place, amazing staff and amazing perfectly kept and chilled real cask ales, great Gins and delicious...
Read moreWe went in to tank to get some food for a very hungry 10 year. Old inside looks great and selection of beers and ciders was great . Ordered two burgers and one sandwich so we would not have to wait to long to eat. Bought our drinks and sat at nice table chatting watching food come out for people that arrived befor us After about 40 minutes we had not got our food and had to get more drinks 10 year old started asking where our food was But iPad kept him busy . Now after 50 minutes wait I saw food being brought to table. Close to us and. Asked if our food was going to much longer when I asked the girl. Said that they only had one person in the kitchen so more or less that was tough . At this point I said how many staff they had was not my problem and could she please check to see if our food was coming . 10 minutes later another member of staff came to our table to tell us that when we orderedthrough to the kitchen now after waiting over an hour we just wanted to get some food for our 10year old so asked for our money back which they agreed to do so now we get the money back for our food but have spent more money on drinks than we would do normally and had wasted over an hour waiting to get food. Not getting any which would have Togo together food somewhere else our food it was not put
They never ordered our food when we were at the bar. So if was tough

Read moreCame here for our meal on an overnight in Gloucester, for our 30th wedding anniversay. Great beer and food and staff knowlegable about the beers on offer.
However a small bit of advice if you order food, we ordered at about 6.50pm and paid up as requested. By 7.30 pm our food had not arrived and looking around, food service did not seem overly busy, I was also aware that we where there on a Saturday evening too.. As I have connections to the resturaunt trade, I checked my phone, to see if they served any of the internet delivery companies, as this can have an effect on kitchen turnout to in house custumers. They did not and so I approached a member of staff who said that the food should have been out in 10 minutes from ordering, he came back to check what I had ordered and then told me it was been sorted very quicly - no further explantion given. The cutlery and condement s arrived by 7.35pm and the food at 7.40pm, so i fairness, the member of staff got on it and sorted it. Afterwards I noticed a few other customers odering food and very qiuckly their cutlery and condements arrived, shortly after their food. So if you order food from here and nothing happens with cutlery or service delivery within 10 minutes of ordering, it may be wise to double check that all is well with your order.
From 7.40pm we enjoyed a very pleasent anniversary...
