BROKEN GLASS IN MY DRINK

I was chewing what I thought was ice from my drink when I suddenly had to spit out a jagged shard of glass. My glass itself wasn’t broken—the shard must have come from their ice supply. I’m incredibly lucky that the shard of glass was large enough that I tried to bite it, rather than immediately swallowing it and probably dying. I’ll be looking into how to report this to health authorities, because this is just an absolutely appalling and dangerous error.

Unless you want to spend the final moments of your life choking on your own blood while shards of glass rip your throat apart, avoid this bar at all costs.

This gin "haven" is very unassuming from the outside and we really stopped in somewhat by accident. Happy surprise! They have one of the nicest selections of Gins I've found and a true cocktail artisans array of botanicals and fruits that can send you on a very nice customizable tasting experience. The "Botanic Gardens" is an herbal gin mojito and one of my favorites, but I also encouraged the barman's suggestion and ended up with a Roku Gin complimented by a sliver of apple and a couple of cardamon seeds. Wouldn’t even give it 1 star if possible. We looked at website before going & menu looked good with variety of gin’s. Got there and asked for a mermaid gin which was met with confusion by the bartender. They had limited gins. When we said “but you’re a gin bar”, he replied “who told you that?”.
