Wow! Just absolute WOW! Needed a last minute personalised birthday cake for my partners birthday and called and visited numerous cake shops in and around Glasgow as I had a very, very difficult request with what I was looking to achieve (especially at such short notice!) As soon as I called Paige & her team, they were head and shoulders above the rest. They were patient, professional, ridiculously knowledgeable about their profession and promised me I would have my cake in time for the weekend! Not only two days later, I receive a call saying its ready 2 days EARLY! I was clearly apprehensive about what the end result was going to be, but upon seeing their unbelievable work, I was literally speechless! I still do not know how they accomplished what they did! The details, presentation and just every single thing about it is almost unbelievably good! Even the price was so so reasonable, if anything, too cheap for both the product and service they provided. I couldn't actually be any happier and will 100% be back and recommending them to absolutely everyone! If you are looking for a cake for a special occasion, please stop looking and contact them NOW! I ordered a Christening cake and the result was stunning! 🤩

I've sent them some ideas that I liked from the web and the cake designers went above and behond our expectations, especially the little sleeping baby in white dress with hand painted details on the face, very prifessional job.

I ordered this cake just a few days (3) before the Baptism and I was a bit worry they had to work in a rush, but everyone was happily surprised how the details were tidy and unpeccable. 👏

The cake itself was deliciously fresh, not dry at all.

Another great thing is that they have options for vegan cakes and they told me they are expanding this range very soon, I look forward to try the new additions.

If you are in Glasgow and you need a cake for any special occasion I would highly recommend Designer...

Not sure what went wrong, maybe it was poor communication, but was disappointed with my daughter's wedding cake (October 2024). It wasn't level and didn't look very close to the image my daughter had sent. The cake itself was fine but the lemon/blueberry layer tasted more like a vanilla cake with little blueberry.

She didn't want anything too fussy and the buttercream was the ivory color she wanted but that didn't make up for the fact it wasn't level and the decoration was less than expected. Ultimately a cake wasn't going to spoil my daughter's day but what we got wasn't worth the cost and I don't feel able to recommend this business.
