Went out with family for supposed to be a lovely evening meal but…
The Food… went here today - Sun 8th Sep 2024 - the selection was good although it’s very cramped and very overcrowded in the place maybe cause it’s been blow over proportion over by the use of social media but … Though the food may looked good but the salt chilli chips ! We’re just chips covered in salt and chilli flakes that’s it and they were very very spicy ! Not worth getting these. The chicken “curry” more like soup like their was no thickness to the sauce what so ever just swirling around my plate but tasted fine. The egg fried rice had chunks off black in it. I don’t know if it was meant to be the egg but picked them out. As we went on a Sunday was meant to be the roast night. I only tried the turkey and it was dry! The Yorkshire puddings were soggy and soft and YUCK along side the gravy just tasted like water. The veg served along side it with the roast just tasted like it came out the can but what can you expect it’s a buffet ?
Dessert - it’s worth trying the ice cream soft serve as it’s mr whippy like and also and cookie dough like these also are delicious
After all we ate and we haven’t even left the restaurant and we felt like we were going to be sick although we did not really eat that much but also all of our stomachs began to tighten up and did not feel well at all ! We traveled just over an hour to come here and when we got home we still felt very unwell and we still do !
Not worth wasting your money if you’re here. There’s better buffet with more space, less cramped like we are all in sardines and more options you’ll get that elsewhere ! Would not recommend to anyone...
Read moreVisited a few times never really been disappointed but went Saturday night and was fairly unhappy with my visit. Spent atleast 45 minitues waiting on a table outside which was understandable due to the high demand on a Saturday though felt we where being misled with a 20 minitue wait time, however since being seated we had to ask for drinks which is usually sorted for you first thing on arrival, then had to ask for them again by this time we had already finished our first plate of Food so that was not a great start to the night but carrying on from there alot of the food was diminished fairly quickly with a long wait time on the replenishing of these food causing long wait times for staple foods and awkwardly lingering around of the buffet, Fast forward through the night we also had to endure a fire alarm that went throughout the service not only once but twice with the restaurant covered in smoke and my partner in the toilet it gave a bit of panic and also confusion as no one seemed to know what was going on wheather we were to leave or not. Poor placement of table caused crushed seating arrangements between adjacent tables and not a prime place to sit for us being stuck at the buffet entrance constantly being nudged any time people came and went. We had to ask for forks Napkins and bowls giving they weren't replenished again understanding due to the day and demand of the restaurant although disappointing in regards to our previous visits. The raspberry sauce bottle was left covered in sauce and had to be wiped after it left us with sticky hands. Food was usually good with a few teething problems here and there but otherwise a...
Read moreBeen here twice now and In general the food is good but they need to put less out so that it does not dry out and would be much better if they cooked smaller batches and put these out regularly. The 8 chicken wing dishes are not labeled so how you supposed to know what flavour they are ?? So last night the prawn toast was very greasy/oily due to being fried in oil that is not hot enough, the crunchy potato balls were dried out ( too many cooked in one batch) The aloo tikki was very salty and dried out ( too many cooked in one batch), the mince curry was too salty, chefs really need to watch the salt levels it seems to be a hit or a miss as they need to learn to measure how much salt they add when cooking rather than guessing or roughly estimating. The spinach paneer curry was okay but needs to be cooked for much longer for the spinach to be an authentic punjabi saag flavour and of course the correct texture. The pizza toppings are variable some have enough toppping others do not. The chinese beef does not have an authentic flavour are the asian/indian food chefs trained in chinese cuisine preparation ? On the positive the fish pakora was lovely, as was the mac cheeese, the chinese king prawn dish was tasty. The rice, naans, chips, lamb chops are all good. The apple pie and most of the deserts are delicious and ice cream machine is great. It would also be good if there were arrows and signs indicating that the food area is a one way otherwise people are bumping into each other and accidents are happening. Overall just over £48 for 2 buffets , a soft drink and one refillable and staff are very polite...
