What a nice surprise. As I arrived at the Old Chapel the warm welcome and explanation of what was on offer was in contrast with other, similar establishments in the locality. The dining area is upstairs and is quite charming being a mezzanine floor within the roof beams of the chapel. All the wood is painted white which, alas covers its best aspect. My coffee and cake, chosen from an imaginative display was delightful but it would be nice if there were a few savouries on offer as well. Well worth a visit and it is obvious that the Home of Feast will do well. My new place of pleasure in Congleton.
