Well Feelgoods I dont really know where to start.
On arrival 3 members of staff were at the entry point chatting, 2 members of Sraff behind the closed off area cleaning and loads in the kitchen area, once they noticed that they had customers they decided to split up and great us.
I asked for a table for 2 for me and my Son and was shown over to a table by the Window overlooking Advenure Island.
The Table was Disgusting covered in food and drink stains and food over the table floor and seats the 2 bins behind us were almost overflowing they came over and cleaned the table only.
We ordered a chicken burger and Pizza coke and what must have been the smallest milkshake I have ever seen.
Looking forward to sitting down in a restaurant to eat some food I was shocked when a takeaway was delivered to our table, no cutlery glasses or plates, the chicken burger and chips were in a fast food container and the pizza in a pizza takeaway box.
The food was extremely overpriced for what it was, and the chicken burger was like a piece of shoe leather.
The whole experience was a complete disaster, we went because I told my son the staff sing whilst eating, but to be honest i have seen better food, in McDonalds the staff were unfriendly and the restaurant was extremely untidy.
The only good thing about Feelgoods was the feelgood feeling when I left vowing never to return again.
I would advise anyone that is considering visiting this place to avoid it like it's a Covid hotspot as you will be extremely disappointed.
Management need to look at retraining staff to be more conscious of customers and be more friendly and welcoming, keeping the place clean and tidy and if you want to be a fast food restaurant then that's fine but cutlery and crockery if what most people expect.
I would like to hope that Feelgoods could return to how it was yrs ago and be a great place to visit again.
I will watch the continued reviews to see if they...
Read moreStaff at the till were lovely and have great smiley customer service but failed to mention we would have to wait over an hour for our food.
Came to adventure island to celebrate my nieces birthday and wanted to stop for a quick lunch. After waiting 30 minutes asked the waitress why it was taking so long and was told an hour wait for food as the restaurant is busy. The restaurant was not that busy at all there were more tables empty than full.
An hour passed and still no food so asked waitress to speak with manager. Waitress never even went to speak to manager just walked around the restaurant and then said the manager is busy right now…
Finally some food came out but my meal was missing, staff had said my food had been taken to the wrong table twice and then returned back to the kitchen.
I Then saw another waitress bring out what I ordered and leave it on an empty table… five minutes later another waitress picked the food up and brought it over to me. At this point I just wanted to leave and the kids wanted to get back on the rides. I accepted the food and then requested to speak to manager again. Nothing was done so my sister went up to counter and spoke to the manager directly.
Manager was really sweet and apologetic and insisted on giving the kids some free ice creams and doughnuts which was appreciated.
If I had known food was going to take this long and to then be served cold lasagne and take time out of the kids going on rides I would have taken my family to one of the chip shops across the road.
Though my experience here was not great in regards to communication with staff and waiting times, the entertainment and singers were great and kept the kids entertained.
The food is standard and reasonable for lunch but if you plan to eat here please clarify your waiting times when ordering to avoid this situation.

Read moreWe visited the Feel Goods Diner on Christmas Eve as a party of 5. Ignoring the long queues for a solo server at the till which speaks more of lack of managerial preparation than service quality, the team themselves were inviting and hospitable. We had two issues, on in which the Coca Cola syrup had run out so we had carbonated water instead- which was resolved fairly and without issue by the staff who understood easily - but it took a long time to replace the drinks, and the food took a long time to prepare - again this speaks to the lack of staff there on what was likely to be a busy day with the Santa's Grotto only downstairs. Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment. Of the two burgers ordered, one had a stale bun (which was replaced when brought to the attention of the staff) and the presentation was effectively 2 pieces of chicken in a bun with unmelted cheese chucked between. In fairness to the burger meals, the chips were good and the portion of them was more than generous. The adult's pizza was overly oily, but overall reasonably priced for the quite large size. We had no specific issue with either this or the loaded chips. The final issue was with the kids pizzas. They were tiny! They were approximately 4 inches. The kids (3 and 5) enjoyed them but were left hungry afterwards. In summary, I can't fault the staff that were there - but it is clear that they were left to run a restaurant at half the staff it probably needed and to heat or cook a small menu of substandard food - you can't argue much because it was cheap, but the stale roll and size of the kids pizzas overwhelms the bargain it...
