Gigabites Retro Diner — Restaurant in Great Britain

Today we went for my steps son pre-booked 9th birthday party. I dropped off the cake and called the waitress over to get it from the street as I had my 8 weeks old in the car and parking was terrible around the area. Cake box was huge and as it is 26*C today it was important that it goes to the fridge right away. I wasn't sure if that's going to be alright...not every place will have that much fridge space for a homemade cake and box... The waitress took it gracefully and I went to park the car. When I went back with a push chair I carried fair few things and the owner helped me out to get in, saying "it is what we are here for", that was lovely. We had a 7 children there and my little one plus guardians. We all had food and I was super surprised by the quality of it and the taste....my burger was superb (I am rather fussy....), one of the best I ever had! and I would never expect that sort of quality in that type of shop if you know what I mean. My chips were perfect and as a lover of coffee when I saw the machine I felt at home. I had two oat lattes in perfect temperature so I don't burn my little one if I spil it for her. Than we had cake. Nothing was too much trouble, knife, plates and cutlery... always serving with a smile..and grace. Being a mum to a little baby I will be coming back just for a coffee, atmosphere and food on my day travels as games were never my thing really, saying that having a go on Mario Bross brought me back to my childhood... Thank you so much to everyone who works there and I will definitely recommend to everyone.

I need to add that the place is very clean including toilets and the baby change table is just like at home. Very impressed...and how handy for mums ❤️

This is going to sound like one of those reviews that’s been written by a friend of the owner as a favour but I assure you it’s not and also I’ll add this is my first ever review for anywhere and the reason being is because of the incredible owner and his kindness and professionalism when we entered today - I was with two children one wheelchair bound and amwar could not of been more welcoming and attentive - also giving the children free ice cream on the house - I truly wish this little business all the success as it’s truly deserved and old school with how it prioritises customer service The food was...
