Jee foo Chinese — Restaurant in Great Britain

I have used this takeaway for a number of years and I’ve ordered via Just eat, and I’ve ordered directly. It has always been my go to local takeaway. Last night I ordered food and it was really poor. The Chicken was slimy and tasted sour, the pork dish was the same. I have been a qualified Chef for over 30 years. Both these meats were either well past their sell by dates or had not been stored correctly. I can accept that sometimes quality can vary during busy periods but these meat was not fit for human consumption and that is not acceptable. I have retained these food , having refrigerated it as soon as it had cooled and I will be returning it in person to the takeaway tonight. I will give them a chance to put this right. If I could give them no stars I would. If you order from here and they get your order wrong do not expect any customer service. The food was partially cold and appeared to have been simply warmed up. The chow mein dish was slimy and duck was most definitely off. The most awful telephone demeanour, couldn’t wait to get me off the phone and eventually said they had other customers waiting and if I don’t like it to order elsewhere. All I wanted to do was support small local business but ended up ruining my evening.

Update: I have reported them via the food standards agency as I’m feeling nauseas. I suggest everyone else who has experienced this...

Let down, placed an order through just eat for delivery at 1700, so pre booked. The order went through and payment was made. We then waited for the food, but it did not arrive. We then saw on an email that the order had been canceled. We called takeaway and on there answer phone it again stated that they were open from 1630 on Monday I understand that in this current climate things change, but if your not going to open then don't take orders and payment via the app. Its lucky we checked our email.
