Happy Noodles — Restaurant in Great Britain

Absolutely beautiful! A fantastic addition to our city. We went in and ordered the beef in chilli oil and it was the most delicious delicate well balanced Chinese dish I’ve tasted in York! A prefect balance of flavour and heat and the beef just melted in our mouth. Then there was the fried prawns and sweet and sour pork which was fried to absolute perfection and beautifully seasoned. We ended with some duck as you can see in the 2nd picture and we were not let down, so much flavour in each individual slice. Very reasonably priced as well! 4 dishes and unlimited rice! Best Chinese food I’ve had in York, so authentic, definitely see myself coming here over and over again...

Unfortunately we left our food. Although it arrived piping hot with a friendly delivery driver our food was so greasy, there was an inch of thick oil sitting on the top. The veg spring rolls are tiny with not a vegetable in sight, just greasy pastry. They also forgot our tofu vegan dish with boiled rice but then delivered it half an hour later but tried to charge us again although it was their mistake and they apologised we couldn’t eat at the same time (if we did want to eat it) The biggest gripe with this restaurant is that there are not willing to put their mistake right or refund you for food that was so inedible, clearly very over greasy missing order and poor...

Called in an order to collect this afternoon. The lovely lady on the phone was very helpful as I had many questions (ordering for my pregnant and craving wife), and she helped me choose a great option even though I did not have a clear idea what to get! The food was extremely flavourful, so much so that I re-ordered the exact thing again the same evening!
