Nasty, burnt Food & unhelpful staff. Wish I took a picture of the burger. Frozen bun, burnt, crusty & cold (what did this bun do to deserve being served stale,microwaved then burnt :'( even though menu says served on a soft bun) 'Microwaved' cheese which was congealed and tasted like plastic - I couldn't even cut through it. When I informed staff she said she would inform "Chef" (lol I wouldn't even call them a cook) Gutting as we were staving & still couldn't bring ourselves to eat the poor quality of what they call food.. Very upset - will stay well away. As there are many nicer pubs...

Overpriced beer and understaffed! I have been in twice recently and the places is a shambles. Each time I’ve been there has been a lack of social distancing measures in place. A struggling pub it seems. It did not take part in the up to £10.00 off government scheme during the week and Sunday was a total shambles, we actually decided to eat a different local venue as there were no staff behind the bar to order food. Some staff are lovely, welcoming and friendly, however there are not enough of them! We are in no rush to return. Had a great roast dinner at a local pub on Montgomery...

While the staff are super lovely and helpful they are understaffed (1 person on over lunch) so took over an hour and a half to get all our groups lunch order and the food wasn't great.

The décor is old and tired, sadly feels like a place on its last legs like many local pubs.

This was the first time I'd been in for at least 20 years so was sad to see how it and pubs in general have changed.

Be nice if it could renovate and rejuvenate itself, and like I say staff are lovely (2 stars are for them else it would be a 1), and feel bad for the neg review and hope they turn...
