Jade Garden — Restaurant in Great Britain

Takeaways are really nice, however the experience in the restaurant was sadly quite the opposite - the whole table felt pressured to order rice for every person, but when it arrived there was easily enough for 2-3 people to share per bowl. This added a decent chunk to the overall bill.

The person serving our table also insisted we put orders in while other members of the party were still looking at the menu; they seemed almost offended when we asked for a few more minutes.

When we asked for cutlery or ordered certain drinks, there were a couple of occasions where the person serving us gave us funny looks before they obliged. While I'm sure they most likely weren't intending to be rude, it made us all feel unwelcome and as if we were causing the staff some kind of inconvenience.

When the food did arrive, it was OK. There were a couple of issues but nothing major, however despite ordering all together, one person waited for 10 or so minutes after everyone else had been served. I don't personally feel it justified the price tag per person.

Again, as a takeaway, this is probably the best place in the local area to go - that's why I was hugely shocked by the dine-in experience; it was completely different to what I'd expected based on past takeaways from them.

My review isn't being posted for the sake of targeting the staff, nor do I wish to attack the business in any way. I'm sad to see there are other people with similar sorts of experiences there, and I hope the collective feedback helps to make improvements in the...

Worst takeaway place ever, customer service appalling didn’t get part of my order that I requested, took 3 people to talk to as they didn’t want to deal with the complaint, they said I lied about my order, they didn’t listen to what I had to say they kept on repeating “you didn’t order that you didn’t order that you chowmain chips and chicken balls” about 10 times, told me the order came to £15 on the phone with no mention of the delivery charge so had to pay more then they said you can come and pick it up if your that bothered and hung up on me I rang then again straight after and they disconnected my call, bearing in mind the reason I ordered is that my wife is 6 months pregnant, she was crying as she couldn’t eat what we had and how rude they where as it was late hence the reason why I ordered and they refused to send the correct item food went cold as I was trying to deal with the complaint so I couldn’t eat it, thank you jade garden for ruining my evening, never again will I order from this rude...

So.. ordered a delivery from here last night 20/08/18, crispy aromatic duck, egg fried rice, Singapore style noodles, chips and curry sauce. Duck itself was edible but not shredded like I asked and hoi sin sauce was missing, egg fried rice seemed under cooked and very gloopy no egg that I could see nor spring onions or peas, Singapore noodles were bland and watery and tasteless, I’ve honestly tasted better in a pot noodle! Curry sauce had thick skin on it and chips were soggy and oily. It amazes me that these places are still in business! Not a single Chinese restaurant in Medway towns seems to want repeat customers, I will never go back here, if anyone knows a restaurant which is constantly good please let me know!
