KFC Hull - The Mount Retail Park — Restaurant in Great Britain

This location doesn't even deserve 1 star. The staff are so uninterested working on the drive thru that they don't listen to your order and interrupt. The person at the window practically threw my order at me and shut the window. Not interested in any pleasantries at all. Fair enough, perhaps they're busy and had a difficult day. Part of my order was missing so I went into the store. Friend of the staff was lounging on the counter chatting so I stood and waited for several minutes with no acknowledgement from the staff. During this time the person behind the till swore 3 times. While other staff discussed smoking, with 3 staff members (including the manager) standing directly outside the front door smoking, very pleasant for customers to walk past.

I asked for the manager who came in from outside. I raised my issues with the staff, she was apologetic and said she'd speak to the staff just as another staff member appeared from the kitchen with a packet of cigarettes and handed one over the serving counter to walk back in the kitchen. When I raised this I got a particularly filthy look from her. The manager at this point seemed exasperated and complained she wanted her break as she'd been there 10 hours. I just left and then found my meal had a feather battered into it.

All in all, I would genuinely avoid eating here. Its terribly unhygienic and the staff really don't care in...

Awful experience! I stood at the counter waiting to order my food, a staff member stood opposite me and totally ignored me. Another customer told me I had to use the self service order station and pay with my card. I placed my order, paid and got my ticket, another staff member asked if I had ordered, if so, I should stand on the other side of the counter. On this side of the counter were about three delivery drivers, all chatting, non of them were wearing masks or face covers. My food order was placed on the counter by a staff member who had her face mask hanging under her nose, I had to ask the delivery driver to move so I could get my food. The chips looked burnt and were luke warm, the chicken looked very well done, at least it wasn't dry. Whilst I sat eating, the original staff member came out from behind the counter eating a box of chicken and drinking a soft drink, maybe she ignored me because she was on her break. It was amazing the number of people who were not wearing face coverings, mostly younger adults, even some staff who were turning up for work and walking through the place had no face covering on. DISGUSTED! Ordered with just eat and when the food arrived it was cold, the bag was ripped, both large gravy had exploded all over our food and we found hair in the chips!!! Honestly the presentation of the food was disgusting and if I was them I would be so embarrassed! Some of the family had to go without chips and gravy due to the gravy being gone due to the explosion and the chips being that badly ruined they weren’t chips anymore!!!! They wouldn’t take blame for it and refused a refund or a new meal! Never ordering from here again and if we could give it 0 stars we would!!! Staff were so impolite on the phone. Honestly such a bad service and has put me off KFC! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! They always forget things as well!!!!!!! LEFT SO DISGUSTED AND FELT PHYSICALLY SICK AT THE LOOK OF THE FOOD!! The driver made us sign before even seeing the food and made us get it out of his bike ourselves and then said oh and got back on the motorbike and left - no apology...
