Keep in mind it was around 5pm so busy time so I totally expected to wait. At window 3 they asked me to park which was fine as 3 meals and 3 McFlurrys at the busy time is quite a lot, however they tried to give me the McFlurrys at the window, I asked if they would be brought out with the food rather than sat melting in the car (turned out to be 15 minutes ish) when the lad came out unfortunately he wasn’t carrying the drinks or McFlurrys so I asked if I could have them. No problem he headed back inside but then came to find out what ones they were, on the receipt someone had circled all the drinks and McFlurrys, so this must be a procedure to show someone what items are missing. I gave him the receipt and off he went again, quickly returning with the McFlurrys……no drinks. I’m absolutely baffled as to how a business can function with people that can’t read a screen and check items against it. To me it seems to either be a management issue where the manager isn’t running the place correctly or a recruitment issue where there is a staff shortage so they are having to employ people that must be lacking simple life skills. I just can’t understand how someone could turn a simple task of checking items on a screen and putting them in a bag into something so complex. It could be that so much is done for them electronically that they don’t have to think and that’s where the problem could be.
Hopefully some process can be put in place from the management but I doubt it will happen because they have been making mistakes for the history of the company and will continue to make simple mistakes I guess....
Read moreVery poor management skills/decision making. Went at lunchtime yesterday (Sunday) to discover all tables were in use. That's always been the case with most McDonalds outlets I've been to, they're popular, they're cheap, staff are always excellent and the food is generally of good standard. No complaints there. But, whoever the manager is at branch level, or decision maker at the local/regional/national head office, whoever it is that thinks it's a good idea to set aside a LOT of tables for 'Staff Breaks' AND 'Delivery Collection Drivers' needs sacking. 4 tables were reserved for staff to take a well needed break. That's space for 16 people to sit & spend money & have food. I saw one girl only eating her lunch the entire time we were there. If any manager decides its ok for 16 staff all to be off on break at the same time, they need to decide if they're really the right type of person to be in management. Look after your staff by all means, but look after the customers first. 4 tables set aside for delivery collection drivers. I'm sorry but they can stand & wait. Families with kids need to sit down and have the table, not some adult waiting 20 minutes collecting a Big Mac. Staff should have a staff room away from the shop floor. Collectors could wait in their cars and either have the food taken out or a phone call to say its ready & to come in. I wasn't the only customer to notice this poorly thought out & executed policy . . . .

Read moreWe went on Monday 20th July for the first time in months. We had to use the drive through.. Was really looking forward to my double cheese burgers, I always have 2 because they're so nice, I drove 1 minute to the bridge retail park, parked up and unwrapped food.. It was barely Luke warm, and the burgers were the thinnest I've ever seen, I think they've changed them, also had fries that were cold and shrivelled, also asked for a coke zero but got a diet coke instead which I hate, but at least it had some ice in it.. Overall very disappointed, surely with a high turnover like they have got everyone's food should be hot or at least warm... I would doubt it's legal the temperature that they are serving food.. It should be 72 degrees or above and there's just no way it's anywhere near that temperature.. Such a shame I used to love going there.. 😭
Been to the newly refurbished restaurant today 12/12/23 Food cold, staff awful with zero personality and the charisma of a brick, new layout terrible, only 4 screens to order food instead of 6 and no counter sales available at all, if this is what progress looks like you can stick it where it fits... Will not ever be going back to spend my hard earned money on sub standard Luke warm food served by children with miserable woke attitude problems.....
