I hope The franchisee reads these reviews because I had to endure appaling treatment by the Manager of day After a complaint in the Drive Thru 0n 15/02/22. Store 0727 Cardiff Gate.
I placed my order which wasn’t displayed on the screen at point of payment to review. I was just told the amount through the sliding glass window My order was for one large meal, a happy meal, 2 large fries and 9 nuggets. They missed a large fries. I always check my order as this is a continuous theme at this restaurant and I am a regular customer as I live locally. I asked at the collection window if they could rectify their mistake and then explained what had happened I was told in no uncertain terms to take all my food and queue behind multiple other cars for the 1 portion of fries they missed from my order. I explained to the team member this was unreasonable as my order would be cold as so many cars were now behind me. To which she relplied she wouldn’t/couldn’t serve me unless I went back around for 1 fries THEY missed off my order and then didn’t confirm. There was nothing she could do.
I then asked to speak to the Manager as my food would be ruined and this was unreasonable. Things rapidly deteriorated due to this woman’s manner and attitude. I had my four year old in the car and she was unhappy with the tone. I asked the woman to please stop as she was raising her voice at me but she refused to serve me unless I went around again and queued behind the other cars even though I had tried to explain it was their mistake and all I would like was for them to rectify it. She then slammed the window closed upon me and walked away.
I am extremely disgusted that someone who holds a managerial position could behave towards a customer in this manner. When all it would have taken was a little common sense and efficient customer service which Mcdonalds prides itself upon. I would like to thank the kind member of staff who finally recified the mistake after I waited until she put it right and the lovely member of staff I spoke to in Finchley Branch whom I mistakenly called because I thought it was head office. He provided me with the correct number. I will not be spoken to or treated like that by anyone. Especially with a child in the car.
I would also like McDonalds to look at CCTV from the store to see how both these member of staff behaved and give them further training because I was certainly...
Read moreThe service was terrible. I got there to find drive thru and instore closed. I ordered via the app, waited 15 minutes for a 24/7 store to reopen. I paid on the app, then waited at the drive thru speaker to confirm my order number, was there for about 2 mins when another car pulled up in the other lane, rolled his window down and asked me if they had acknowledged me yet? I replied no, then he was spoken to via the speaker, he told the woman I was there before him, she replied then took his order before mine.
I then drive to the 1st window, to be told there is a further £2.95 to pay. I query it saying I paid on the app and received confirmation from my bank it had been paid. The manager got involved as I was getting annoyed but not raised my voice, he then said I have removed the 2 McFlurries i had ordered as their machine was not on to mix them. But I still owed 31p. I argued even more of how can you remove 2 items and I still owe? He asked me did I add anything to the order at the drive thru and I confirmed no I hadn't. I eventually paid 51p for the 31p owed as I was with my son on his birthday getting him McDonalds breakfast etc. Went to collect my food and drive off. When my son points out I didn't get my 20p change.
I wasn't driving back so made a complaint online over the extra cost etc.. Any single of the above I could have maybe accepted apart from the increased cost.
I later received an email over my order and found they had added a breakfast roll to my order, even though I told the manager nothing further had been added. I never had the breakfast roll with brown sauce and both my son and myself hate brown sauce anyway. I added that to the complaint to update them on why the order was more expensive. I received a reply today saying sorry, but prices may vary and to check instore for prices in future.
So that was at least 3 people I have spoken to/contacted and not 1 of them really listened to me or even their own questions. Someone there added a breakfast roll to my order and kept it. So if you like buying some else's breakfast, by all means go there. I am waiting on an update and if no satisfaction will contact the Senior management of mcdonalds to complain about the fraud they have committed and...
Read moreI don’t even want to give this McDonalds any stars. The customer service that we received if that’s what you want to call it, was absolutely awful. Ordered food through Just eat, the wrong order came which was £10 less than what we had spent. Tried to phone the delivery driver. No answer. Tried to phone the shop several times, no answer. Decided to go to McDonald’s and explain the situation. We were greeted by a girl who said she was a manger, how on earth she’s a manger with no customer service is a beyond. Explained the situation very nicely to her and she told us there is nothing she can do to help us, that it’s all Just eats fault. There was no address on the order nothing so how they can just blame the delivery and Just eat us is crazy. I explained that Just eat takes days to get back to you and we needed the food now. The girl did not want to help us whatsoever. However my daughter works in another McDonalds and had told me that yes they replace the order if it is wrong. This was cleared up by two other managers in Llanishen so not only did she not want to help she lied. When I asked for her name as I wanted to take it further and complain she told me she does not want to give out her name as it’s personal information yet again stated at Llanishen they were happy to do so. I’ve worked in retail and never when a customer asked me for my name have I refused. I’m guessing your name is Karen sweetheart because you sure as hell looked like one and acted like one. McDonald’s it’s not the first time I’ve had issues but let them slide but she was dam right rude and had no care to help at all. I will no longer be using this McDonalds until they get better staff with customer service.
