My other half and I visited Meat at the Parish last night for the first time for a date night and time out from being mum and dad! We don't often get the time anymore to try different restaurants and when we do, we have an unfortunate habit of going to the same ones because it's an easy choice when we need to find somewhere quickly if we are able to get childcare for an evening.

We walked past Meat at the Parish many times and have always wanted to go - finally we booked a table and we are so glad we did.

The atmosphere was warm and lively and we didn't feel rushed to order or leave at any point. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the food and we felt at home. The food was incredible- we ordered oysters which were classically served and very fresh. The meat was the highlight of our meal (and year!)- the produce was exceptional and I can't remember the last time we have both been speaking about a dining experience so much after as we have this weekend. We have visited many high end restaurants in various parts of the world and I have to say the grass fed beef at Meat at the Parish was one of the best we had (including the cooking of it).

So happy we went and will be back in a heartbeat. Can't...

The food was very good, I ordered a ribeye steak and asked for it to be cooked medium to well done, slightly more well done than medium but it was more medium than well done, it was was still good but I can't give 5 stars because it wasn't cooked to my preference. The service, although attentive and polite, was extremely shoddy, we were served by 3 or 4 different people and they didn't seem to have spoken to each other, our orders were taken but they forgot to tell up they'd run out of certain items we'd ordered, both on our starters and our main courses, they offered to give us a free starter but when the bill came they hadn't removed the original starter which we didn't get because they'd run out. The chairs were comfortable but we were sat at a small table which would probably have been better suited for 2 people not 4, considering that we are 4 big blokes table choice was poor but they were busy. On the whole not a good visit but the redeeming point was the food itself, I would be inclined to go back and give them a second chance, maybe the staff were having a bad day, hence the shoddy service and running out of food, I had heard good things prior...

Really disappointed and very rude girls Popped in today at 6pm with my dad, now I used to go to this restaurant with my dad, friends and family all the time and the two male waiters /bar tenders were fab. Today I showed up without a booking and there was only one couple at the table. I asked if they could fit us in bearing in mind it was just about to be 6pm and they said they had no availability bearing in mind the restaurant was empty, they said if I had a reservation which I said I didn’t. Anyway we left, going outside I said to my dad that it was weird they never have treated me that way before so we quickly went online to book a table. What a coincidence there was a table available at 6:15 and 6:30pm for two people. Extremely disappointed and won’t be going back the girls attitudes were abysmal, pitty the waiter guy was at another table I bet he would have sat us down at a table straight away and welcomed us with a friendly smile like he always did. Won’t be going back and very very poor attitude and service from the 3 girls at the entrance and bar. I guess they didn’t fancy...

We dined here as a group of 7 for a family celebration and we were blown away by the quality of the food and the service. My husband and I shared a Chateaubriand as did my Aunt and Uncle and we all said that it was probably one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. Others at the table had fillet steaks and the salmon dish and there were no complaints there either! For starters we had the onion bloomer which was delicious. There is a great drinks selection here also - lots of cocktails and wines to choose from. Finally, the service... Sylvia was our waitress and she was outstanding! She was so friendly, funny and courteous. We were there to celebrate my Dad and even though he didn't choose a dessert she made sure he was still celebrated by bringing out a firework for him - I wish waiting staff in every restaurant I went to were like Sylvia! 10/10 would recommend Meat at the Parish to anyone looking for a great meal in Windsor.

This place was recommended to me by lots of people so i thought id give it a go as i love Steak. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The wine was almost too good! I drank a little too much. The calamari was delicious, and the other starters at our table went down very well. Chateaubriand to share. It came out perfectly medium rare. The sides were incredible. The apple crumble im always hesitant to order as it’s never normally as good as at home. Again it was just yum. And the cheese portion my partner had was so big she took the rest home. Wonderful food, wonderful and attentive service, we are coming back! Thank you . Oh and the best bit - we got a literal doggie bag for our pup to take home

First time to this meaty establishment and I'll definitely be back. Even as a vegetarian!! The decor is classy and chic, the staff welcoming, attentive and professional. There's a great choice of drinks and the menu is a meat water's heaven. As a vegetarian, I was concerned about what I could have, but the mushroom gnocchi is the best I've ever had. I dont normally like it as I find them heavy and gloopy, but these were divine - light, fluffy and tasted oh so delicious. The side dishes are excellent, full of flavour cooked to perfection. Excellent value and just superb all round. Can't fault it.
