It's really great to see 5 food hygiene ratings. This is reflected in the food I got. The service was met with a friendy smile and welcome. She was brilliant and made a lot of difference first impressions. The food was mixed meat special rice. This I feel more Thai than Chinese. Omg it tasted so fresh and light. The meat is, I think, streamed. I don't normally eat Chinese beef or pork, as this is always chewy. The pork melted in my mouth. The beef was very tender to, a little chewy. Our order cost £36 and we couldn’t eat none of it! Beef curry more like fatty meat gravy, rice was terrible all stodgy and clumped together couldn’t even find the egg in it and it certainly wasn’t fried. Chips awful! Spare ribs were just fat on a bone! Prawn toast was soggy you could literally wring it out! My husband said the chicken balls wasn’t too bad but yet he still left over half bearing in mind we were starving! Went here after our usual Chinese takeaway was closed. Nervous to try somewhere different as have been going to our usual for years, so thought we would write a review for others who may be in a similar situation.

We had, chicken chow mein, lemon chicken, egg fried rice, spring rolls, chips and curry sauce, prawn toast.

It was LOVELY!! Very good portion sizes. Very lovely and hot. Delivered on time.

Would defo recommend on those Tuesday eves, when no where else is open (or if you’re looking for a different vibe).
