Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an unsatisfactory experience I had with Nihal’s Veggie Hut on 2nd May 2025, which raises serious concerns under food hygiene and trading standards.

I placed an order for a Vegan Margherita Pizza with a deep pan base, clearly specifying the dietary requirement of it being vegan. Upon collecting the order, the pizza provided was extremely cold, rock hard, and burned. The texture was very chewy, and the overall quality of the food was extremely poor — entirely unfit for consumption.

Furthermore, the counter staff offered no apology, explanation, or replacement, and showed no concern for the substandard product that had been served. The lack of customer service, combined with the poor food quality, leaves a negative first impression that is unlikely to be forgotten. We clearly mentioned Deep Pan but received Thin base pizza.

Based on this experience, I am compelled to question whether the establishment adheres to appropriate food hygiene standards, and whether their trading practices align with consumer protection laws, particularly regarding the accurate provision of food as described and advertised.

"I recently visited Nehal’s veggie hut , and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome. The service was prompt and efficient, with our waitress taking the time to explain the specials and answer any questions we had about the menu.

As for the food, it exceeded our expectations. We ordered a sahi paneer pizza and nehal's special pizza . The pizza had a perfectly baked thin crust that was both crispy and chewy. The tomato sauce was fresh and tangy, and the mozzarella was melted to perfection with a hint of basil that added a nice aromatic touch.

The paneer lovers pizza was equally impressive. It was loaded with high-quality sahi paneer and veggies. The crust was thicker on this one, but it was still light and airy, providing a great balance to the hearty toppings.

The ingredients were clearly fresh and of high quality, which made a noticeable difference in the taste. The cheese was especially noteworthy, with a creamy and rich texture that complemented the toppings wonderfully.

I'm a fair scorer. 1 is terrible 5 is this was great. Being honest I can't give a 1. We walked in and was told to go up. 1 table was dirty and used . Other tables were empty. We used takeaway menus on the tables. Ours was torn and well used.. Ordered and was disappointed but it was edible. My fake chicken ½pounder was like fish. Definitely wrong item but I ate it. Alu paratha was thin like a chapati. Hardly any filling. Biriani was just spiced rice with veg and potato stired in. Asked about biriani sauce and was offered ketchup. Chips were excellent. Person taking order stood on stairs and did not come to table No cutlery was given. Asked for salt and vinegar was ignored. Ok she did not understand The next person bought only salt So the food was edible but service was 0 stars. Order taker went toilet washed hands in just water. Reason I know? Full hand wash bottle but did not work. When I left the other used table was still dirty, probably because they did not expect any customers. They have 5 stat rating. The inspector did not do there job. It's a no from me. If the restaurant is so bad, what's the kitchen like? Now reading reviews is too late for me. Just to point out. I was Not ill...
