Nwdl — Restaurant in Great Britain

Great to finally have a bit more variety on the Llŷn, instead of the usual fish/steak/burger & chips. And Nwdl have achieved this extremely well - from the décor to the service - and the food definitely exceeded our expectations.

The soft shell crab bao bun and prawn toast starters were exceptional. Mains were equally satisfying - we went with the Nwdl Ramen bowl and the Monkfish.

Even though we were full, we couldn't resist sharing the churros with salted miso caramel ice cream and the mandarin & lemongrass crème brûlée - so glad we did as they completed this delicious meal perfectly.

Will definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu. Hope Nwdl stays a permanent feature here...

I had the veg spring rolls which was good - hence the 2 starts for them - however, we had to wait 1 hour and 15 for our main, and when it finally arrived, the Katsu Curry was a bunch of inedible chicken cartridge and fat, coated in a very below average Thai green curry sauce and a bowl of what tasted like easy cook rice. The waitress was also exceptionally rude when serving us, making sarcastic remarks throughout service. It was such a shame and I left really disappointed considering the reviews I read on Google...

Great experience at Nwdl - the food was amazing, especially the buttermilk fried chicken in the gochujang chilli sauce! The service was really quick too, we didn't have to wait long even though we got a table at 7pm on a Saturday with the restaurant fully booked. The only downside was the price of our starter, as we ordered the pork and vegetable spring roll (£8) and it was quite literally 1 spring roll cut in half which was disappointing for the price.
