AVOID THIS PLACE! Overpriced, small portions with waiting times that ruined our day. Wouldn't recommend and won't be going there again. We turned up for a quick bite to eat before going to a show in Pontio. The place was quiet with only a couple of tables with customers. We ordered 4 soft drinks and one coffee, 3 toasties, a lasagne and a pasta dish. 40mins later our drinks were brought over and we asked if the food would be much longer as it was getting close to the time of the show. We were told it won't be much longer. We waited ten more minutes and still nothing so we asked if they had takeaway boxes so we could take our food with us so as not to miss the show, we were told our food was "literally coming out now". Another five minutes passed and our food was served, plated and not in takeaway boxes like we requested. We had no time to eat it as they had taken so long to make what was 3 basic toasties and a bit of pasta. The lasagne was laughable...a tiny child's size portion in a massive oversized bowl for £13!! the toasties were £12 each and came with a thimble of coleslaw and a couple of chips. Ridiculous pricing for a 2 triangle toastie consisting of 2 slices of bread. So to summarize we were robbed to the tune of £77 and left hungry and had to leave half our food to get to the show they'd made us late for and missed the start of. When we raised the matter of the wait times and poor service as we were paying and leaving we weren't offered any takeaway boxes to take our remaining food with us and we're only given a half hearted appology. We chose this place because my partner used to go often, the food used to be well worth the money and didn't take all day to visit! Very disappointed to find it's gone downhill. We will definitely not be going...
Read moreI Never normally leave reviews but as Bangor high street is such a sad sight nowadays I believe small businesses such as this one needs to be kept open!
I came here with my dad on my lunch hour today for the first time. I have never been greeted with such good service as I had today by the lovely waitress! We both had the homemade pizzas, (I was a bit skeptical as I don’t normally like pizza) but this was the best pizza I’d ever had! And the price for what it was, was amazing! Lovely vibe and a real feel of community!
Highly recommend this place if your ever on the high street...
Read moreCome here quite often when visiting Bangor as I like to support local businesses through these times. The coffee, hot chocolate and even their milkshakes from their own homemade gelato are amazing.
The pizzas and calzones are lovely, full of flavour and they have no trouble if you need to change anything. They have good selection of gluten free cakes available and other sweet treats.
Customer service is excellent. Staff are always willing to talk to you and welcome with a happy face and help with anything you are...
