I just finished my first ever order from this place. 8 kimchi wontons and togarashi fries. What an absolute treat. I have heard nothing but great things about this place and today I decided to go. And I wasn’t let down. I haven’t enjoyed a takeaway since going plant based but it felt good being able to eat out knowing this entire place was cruelty free. The food was delicious. The wontons were so flavourful. I’ve never eaten any like that before. I love kimchi and these were so good. Crunchy on the outside and delicious on the inside. Didn’t even need soy sauce (which I normally have with wontons) with it as it had enough flavour. And the loaded fries were tasty too. They weren’t just plain fries with toppings….the fries had some sort of delicious seasoning on them and then they were topped with a spicy sauce and other bits. Honestly I’m very glad I went here today. The lady who served me (Lara) was so lovely and when I asked what she recommended, she said exactly what I fancied in that moment. My only wish is that I got more food. Very reasonable prices too. £9 altogether for me today. Definitely worth it in my opinion. I’m so glad I can eat out again. It’s been so long and I’ll definitely be back to this place. Although I love cooking since going plant based, it’s nice to let someone else cook. And knowing no one was killed for a meal makes it that much more enjoyable. Thank you Salt and Fire!! Food and...

Went to Salt n Fire Inverness for lunch and enjoyed it some much I took my family back a few days later for more! We had the Falafel Bowel, Dirty Fires, and the Buddha Bowls. Everything was delicious! All the food is fresh and presented beautifully! The staff are also very helpful and polite! The servings were large and we even had to take some home! I have never had vegan food before and I loved it. Will definitely be back soon and would highly recommend trying Salt n Fire! Vegan or not, you won't be disappointed!.........................10/02/2024 Recently went to their relocated take-away now within the central hall of the Victorian Market food hall and wow! I tried the falafel wrap for the first time and it was amazing! As always ingredients are fresh and tasty and the food is freshly made from scratch. If you haven't eaten at Salt n Fire yet, give it a try. You won't be...

Lovely vegan spot in Victoria Market. Had the miso peanut noodles. Flavors were mostly there and though it’s clever to make noodles out of (locally-grown?) potatoes I honestly think the dish would be much better with standard wheat based ramen or udon. The noodles reminded me of konjac (even more than japchae) as they were chewy but so slippery they were tough to actually chew. Would also be great to have a little side of soya, a slice of lime, and chili oil in case you want to amp up the salt or heat, which I would have. Texturally sort of one note - would be amazing with fried onion or garlic on top. Eventually gave up on the noodles - too much work - and just finished the bok choy, corn and mushrooms...

Very friendly staff every time I have been, the food is amazing, hands down. My personal favourite are the wontons (dish in white tray on picture) but every single item I have tried so far has left me feeling happy and satisfied! The presentation of the food is extremely good which you wouldn't often expect from a takeout/quick dine place. Highly recommend especially if you are on the go and want some quick food that leaves both your stomach and taste buds happy!
