First of all. It sounds like I'm replying to the same guy who also has some bad reviews about him here (long dark curly hair with round black glasses). He's the one who ruined our day.
Don't you find it interesting there are about 6 reviews here who also found you extremely rude? Or that your colleague (young lady) who did nothing wrong had to come to us to awkwardly apologise about your behaviour? I would maybe think about that.
The other review about this incident comes from my wife who you also insulted.
Our table ordered about £80 worth of food and drinks, my wife and I spent about £40. The only reason we decided to stay there was because we were with a group and you made it very difficult to enjoy our time there.
You did not offer to replace the beverage (see more below).
I would also be interested to know in what way was I rude?
I can assure you that I didn't treat you less, neither did my wife because you are hospitality staff. We've both worked in hospitality for a very long time, I myself have been a waiter for 15 years.
That's why I'm perfectly aware that when somebody gets the wrong order, I apologise and get them what they ordered right away. Not trying to charge them an extra drink.
Not sure if you acted the way you did because we talked with an accent but you really should read the other reviews about yourself and get some training in customer service or quit.

The rudest staff member Iāve ever come across!!!
They failed to solve the most basic thing that can happen at a cafe or barā¦
Asked if they can do their tiramisu cappuccino hot (itās a cold drink in their menu), a lady said yes they can and charged us for the drink. Then they brought us a cold one and rushed away.
I went to till, explained that I got the wrong drink and asked if they could get me the drink I ordered. The guy said they donāt do that drink hot. I told him that his colleague (the lady) said they can and charged me forthe hot version. But I wasnāt bothered just asked if a I could just get a regular latte instead. The guy said yes and wanted to charge me for the latte as well.
I was confused as I brought the wrong drink back without even having a sip of it. I explained that they got me the wrong drink which I didnāt order. I understand that they apparently canāt make it so I will just have a latte instead.
But the guy kept arguing with me that this is a new order and I need to pay for this drink as well. He said itās not his fault his colleague charged me for a drink they donāt do.
I was like, arenāt you in the same team? I was just shocked.
When I asked to speak to the lady who took my order he said thats not possible and asked me what should he do with the wrong drink that I brought back.
Eventually the lady turned up apologised and sorted it out. I asked the guy if he wants to apologise and he said he doesnāt have anything to apologise forā¦
After 5 minutes of arguing they managed to replace the wrong drink with a latte but refused to take off the difference. So I still got overcharged and ended up paying for a more expensive drink that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsually really enjoy coming here, however our most recent visit we felt we were spoken to by a member of staff quite rudely. We were moving 2 tables together and did not realise this was not allowed, a male staff member with long black wavy hair (who seems to already have a negative review about him on here) rudely and with a lot of attitude said to us ādo you not realize youāre blocking the disabled pathway?ā. This was not done on purpose, a simple sorry but can you not move the tables together as it blocks the disabled pathway would have sufficed. Also, coincidentally, someone else we knew happened to also be in the cafe so he came over to chat to us for 5 mins, the same staff member came over and told him he wasnāt allowed to stand and talk to us with his drink (again, absolutely fine, the way it was said is what bothered us). It felt like he was on a power trip, we understand these may be the rules of the cafe and we are happy to follow them, however there is no need to be rude, especially to paying customers and when these rules seem to be unwritten rules we arenāt aware of. Disappointing as we usually rate this place very highly. The rest of the staff are excellent. Hoping for a better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible experience. Walked in, no where for four of us to sit. Popped some tables next to each other, and a guy from behind the bar comes out. Heās shaking his head at us before he even opens his mouth and then when he does he just says āIām not ok with thisā, in an extremely dismissive and belittling way.
He then said he needs a clear walkway, which was limited by the tables being moved. We totally understood and moved the tables apart straight away. He stormed back to the tills. Would have been completely okay and weād have found another spot no issue at all if he hadnāt come over and berated us and made a song and dance about popping tables together. He was really worked up and annoyed, and acted as though we were doing something terrible. Again, totally understand that they need a clear walkway, but it was the way he spoke to us that rattled us. Really unacceptable, and it wouldnāt have been hard to just ask politely.
Really horrible experience that and left us all feeling embarrassed. Iād avoid unless youāre cool with being berated like a child in front of a room full...
