First night in, thought it was closing time, second night in was better, although this is NOT a bar for entertainment! This is the sort of place you go to if you just want to sit, chat and have a good drink. Barmaid was really friendly, even going out of her way for the awkward customer (me) to make a drink she'd never even heard of. Had a bit of banter with the staff and a couple of the regulars, so yes, a good little pub to start your evening off or an ideal little place to sit and drown...
