The Bayleaf — Restaurant in Great Britain

Ordered some food today. South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken and Lamb Tikka Chops. The spices in the food was raw, nothing was toasted. South Indian Garlic chilli chicken barely had any garlic in it, also, they literally filled it up with chilli powder when I clearly said to use green chillies. What surprised me was the "lamb" was not even lamb, they are using sheep meat.

When I called them regarding the issue, they said "this is the way we make it, deal with it" I was so shocked hearing that. I regularly have Indian takeaways and have dined in many restaurants and my favourite has been South Indian Garlic chilli chicken. But trust me, it was not the curry they're selling. So be aware!

Don't take me wrong I have ordered from them before as well, but only vegetarian dishes. They are decent. My suggestion is stay away from...

We ordered with this restaurant a takeaway & it got delivered 2hour 30min later. There was nothing wrong with the food itself, even the time, although took a very long time, wasn't the issue. It was the fact then when we chased the order for an update, we got lied to not once, or twice, but three times. I understand businesses can be busy especially on weekend, but dont tell me its on its way and then on other 2 occasions you tell me its not even left your premises. Also when you know you have been caught lying, dont try & give me a discount on future orders, I will not be recommending you or coming back to you. Word to the wise, be honest with you customers otherwise it will cost you...

Ordered from Uber Eats at 6.50pm and food was due between 7.25-7.45pm. I rang at 8pm and they told me the food was ‘leaving the kitchen in a few mins’ and would add in some extras for the delay. The food arrived at 8.25pm and it was not worth the wait. An hour’s delay for food that was cold, oily and my paratha was under cooked (doughy). I ordered saag aloo and it was nothing like the saag I have in my Indian household (that my grandmothers would make). We didn’t receive any extras.
