Creams Cafe Telford — Restaurant in Great Britain

We visited creams tonight and quite frankly I am appalled. We rang in advance and were told that last ordered for eating in were 9pm - we arrived at 8:50pm, we literally just wanted to eat and go. At the door we were told takeaway only, to which we said we’d rang and asked in advance. The waitress - Abbie rolled her eyes, took us to the table and threw the menus down and said order at the bar. I am gluten free and dairy free and felt extremely awkward asking after the waitresses attitude. My friends ordered and I got rather upset and asked a very nice guy who said he’d ask about my allergens for me. He then came back and told me of 1 dish that I could have. I then went up and ordered, I asked to exchange the ice cream for a sorbet because of my allergens and they charged me an extra £3 bringing my original order from £6.95 to £9.95... wow. Whilst waiting we then smelt what can only be described as a dirty urine smell coming from the mop bucket, placed right next to our table, whilst 6 staff congregated around said object and argued about it. My friends had now eaten there’s by the time I was approached and told that they didn’t have the ingredients for my dessert. At this point I just wanted to go home so asked for a refund. I was then unfortunately greeted by the same waitress from the start who argued how much id paid. I’m completely mortified by the whole experience and would never recommend anyone stepping foot in this place, the staff are awful. Customer service training needed. I will be sending an email to head office and I expect something done about the disgraceful way we were treated.

Telford branch- Wouldn’t even give them one star and this is saying something. Had an awful experience this evening. I went in for a milkshake requested soya milk and no cream for it turn up with cream on it. After explaining I ordered without cream it’s returned back to me in seconds after the staff members had scraped it off. After trying my soya drink I found it was milk after mentioning my dietary requirements. They tried to tell me how it was soya. It really wants and I was left feeling un well, they didn’t even offer my money back. The hole place is extremely dirty watching staff make crepes and scraping excess mix onto the side/floor without cleaning it up. ( the mix hadn’t been cleaned or Machine for some time) Whilst it drips onto clean cups in the open cupboard below. Menus are gross and falling apart. Over all if you have any allergies I’d stay well away as Allergens and cross contamination don’t matter to this company and hygiene levels are extremely poor, coming from a catering background there 5 start rating on the door shouldn’t have made it passed a 2 as I know what goes into getting a food hygiene rating and this company is far from it. I bet the staff have never done food hygiene training as I also watched them prodding the food without gloves and not once did I see them wash there hands. Even the plates looked dirty. Honestly wouldn’t come here again. Never been so disappointed! This place has potential but the staff are just too slow...

Placed a £50 order via just eat, after 30 minutes of no updates we rang them up to see what was happening, only to be informed a white chocolate cookie was unavailable. We said to replace it for normal chocolate, annoyed that we had to ring them up to inform them of this after 30 minutes of no contact.

Another 40 minutes pass and it finally arrives.

Both shakes were the wrong size, we received the smaller size when we paid for the large. One of the shakes was also the wrong flavour, and both were missing paid additional toppings.

The portion of chocolate cookie that had been exchanged was missing its ice cream.

We ordered two portions of cookie dough ice cream which ended up just being vanilla ice cream with some chocolate shavings, there was no dough or cookie crumbs on there.

To finish, there was a long black hair in the ice cream.

A £50 order that ended up being maybe £10 worth of ice cream and incorrect orders, and a little bit of human in there to finish.

Absolutely rubbish, and it seems the people running the place lack common sense. Looking at just eat reviews after ordering seems to back this up, as we read reports of identical problems.

Stick with little dessert shop if you must; they're just as overpriced but at least they manage to scoop the correct flavours of ice cream into a container without shedding their hair into it or having to Google how to use a...
