DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR RACSIT AND UNWELCOMING
We visited The Piers Coffee Shop in the Lake District today and were completely humiliated. When we entered, I politely asked the older woman at the counter (grey hair, hazel eyes) if we needed to order to sit inside. She said yes, with no smile or warmth. The atmosphere was already unwelcoming.
While waiting outside the toilet, the other elderly woman (brown hair, blue eyes) approached us and pressured us to order before weâd even made a decision asking âWhat do you want?â and saying, âItâs okay, Iâll get it prepared for you,â as if we were being rushed or monitored. Dealt with assertively without fuss from the proprietor. Couldnât believe the cheek of it and how utterly rude some people are to do such a thing! But peace was soon restored. No need to do this as there is good food at good prices. And if all you want is a cup of tea- thatâs fine too. Gem of a place. Favourite...
