⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an incredible dining experience at The Riverside 1901 on the Southside of Glasgow. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We started with the prawns, which were absolutely amazing – perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and a real highlight to kick things off. The meatballs that followed were equally delicious, rich and hearty with just the right seasoning. The pasta was fresh and cooked beautifully, with a lovely balance of flavours that really stood out. For the main, I had the sea bass, which was cooked to perfection – tender, tasty, and paired wonderfully with its accompaniments. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, with a great balance between stylish and comfortable. Service was excellent as well – attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell the staff really care about the experience they’re providing. All in all, The Riverside 1901 is a fantastic addition to Glasgow’s Southside dining scene. Amazing food, friendly service, and a menu that delivers on quality. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal – I’ll definitely be back.

Night out with friend and it was a main of cajun chicken pasta for both of us and a side of garlic bread. Delicious! Friend had the cheesecake of the day which was twix and I had ice cream to finish. All washed down with lovely cocktails (all cocktails were £5! Bargain!) Service was fantastic and although it was very busy our server was always checking in to make sure we were OK and enjoying our food/drinks without being overbearing. 2nd visit here and will definitely be back.

Took advantage of the £9 pizza & pasta offer running at the moment. I ordered lasagne with garlic bread & my husband the ham & mozzarella pizza and chunky chips on the side. The food was so delicious & also hot which is we feel is really important. The staff are so pleasant and welcoming and the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing.

Yesterday we had the pleasure off visiting the stunning @theriverside1901 in the heart off Cathcart, Glasgow and wow it was outstanding. What was the very popular Cyrus Kitchen now has new owners and has had a complete overhaul with new menus and a more relaxed vibe. We went for the grilled chicken dish and lasagne and they were both sensational. Plenty of food, mouthwatering taste and flavor, we enjoyed every bite. For children they can choose a smaller portion off any off the pizzas or pastas and comes with a drink and bowl off ice cream. For dessert the chef made us gelato and it was the best ice cream we've ever tasted. We actually said we would drive the hour to Glasgow again just for the ice cream alone! The menu caters for all dietary requirements and the staff went above and beyond to please. The homemade lemoncello shot after our meal was the perfect finish. Absolutely outstanding - could not recommend it highly enough. Go check if out for yourselves, it's fantastic. Thank you for...

We came down again after a great deal on the Monday pasta night. Wanted to try something new; we got the meatballs, mushroom bruschetta, and the Parma ham pizza to share with a side of dough balls. Great value for money, and GREAT service. The young guy (sorry we didn’t catch your name), offered us a bigger table, and brought us a side of arancini to try on the house. He said he did this to apologise for the slow service, as he was only himself in that section but we really didnt notice it being slow at all (we were out the door within 2 hours for a big, relaxed meal). The only thing I’d say to improve is the bruschetta/garlic bread: the bread is sometimes a bit flimsy and gets soggy underneath the sauce, maybe try a thicker cut or just toast a bit longer. This place is just what the neighbourhood needs, a nice local with not too many thrills and all just good value for money, with good service being a big...
