Turkish Bistro, Poynton — Restaurant in Great Britain

I was disappointed. I had phoned to book and said I was Vegan. I was told that there would be q number of vegan options including rice. When I came to order I was told that the rice was made with butter. No option for non buttery rice. The menu does not indicate the butter ingredient. I don't have a dairy allergy but what if I did and ordered rice not thinking there would be butter? Yes I would probably stress my intolerance/allergy but it should be highlighted on the menu surely. I didn't have the options I thought I was going to have so upset at that given the lengthy phone conversation I had had when booking. Also I think these days customers should be asked if there are any allergies or dietary requirements. That would be good customer service and avoid any health events. I don't think the staff knew what vegan meant. The only choice other than butter rice was chips but I have been to other Turkish restaurants and said I was vegan and been served rice. My daughter who was down to visit me for my birthday and she left the restaurant still hungry because she couldn't eat the rice. Neither my daughter nor I...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Turkish Bistro, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish!

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail of my dining experience was perfect.

The menu offered a delightful array of authentic Turkish dishes, and everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. The mezze platter was a fantastic start, with an assortment of fresh and flavourful appetizers. The main course, a beautifully cooked, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. And I can't forget to mention the decadent baklava for dessert—it was the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful meal.

The quality of the food, the excellent service, and the cozy ambiance truly made my visit memorable. I highly recommend Turkish Bistro to anyone looking for an authentic Turkish dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings!

Wow I took some friends to this little gem in Poynton and had the an amazing time from the time we walked in to leaving. We were greeted with a warm smile and shown to our table where we had drinks while looking at the menu. We all had different starters which was so nice I could have eaten another but the portions are really generous. Then the main course, I had my favourite Chicken Sizzler with rice and salad so so tasty. The big problem is now did I leave enough room for one of the cakes in the Amazing display at the front of the restaurant ? Oh yes and iam really glad I did Mmmmm !
