In one word: amazing! The food is glorious, the collection of beers on tap always lets me want to try more, and the staff cannot be friendlier and more caring. Not a wide range of dishes, but that is not a limitation, it is a quality - what is available is, simply, excellent. The ways the chef plays with flavours is intriguing and absolutely rewarding. I love cooking and almost every time I 'discover' something new in the dish; then I have this thought: 'wow, how did you think about this?! I've eaten in so many places around the world (I am not boasting!), and I cannot but say that this is one of the best. You pay for street food, but you get a concert of flavours and textures. What an amazing asset in Pocklington! Huge beer selection, lots of wine and cocktails for those (me) that prefer it, and the food! THE FOOD!! We ordered way too much because it all sounded amazing, finished it and still had dessert because it was so good! Highlight for me was definitely the Apple Pie Gyoza with Biscoff Sauce 😍 really innovative dessert that delivered on every level. There’s a reason this place has no negative reviews. Best service of any place in pock by a mile. I have never once had a negative experience here, Luke is a particularly warm and friendly manager and also makes sure things run perfect logistically. So much goes into making this korean style food which is a pleasant change from the usual greasy pizzas and cheesey chips you see.
