I visited your establishment this lunchtime, with a friend, we popped in for a cup of tea.
I asked where te loos were, and a young lady told me that they were upstairs..... I said that i didnt think i would be able to get up there. I have mobility problem with my joints, and find stairs difficult. However, i took my time and finally got to the ladies toilet on the upper floor. I found the loos ina bit of a sad state, there was toilet paper all over the floor, no soap in the dispensers. Another lady came in and said that she was not able to wash her hands properly either, as there never seems to be any soap. We had a cup of tea, which was wishy washy, and found it awkward to get the milk out of the flask/jug provided on the side... and i left my cuppa as it was tasteless. A lady on the next table had a terrible time trying to manouver her mobility scooter, as the tables were too close, and if i hadnt have moved an moved y chair back she would have been stuck.... it was then another customer told me that there was a disabled loo, just around the corner of the counter...... yet i was told that i would have to go upstairs.... ??
I was dissapointed to say the least... I have been to other Greggs outlets, and although the cakes and bread are super, the cafes do seem to be a bit laxed.....I was going to ask an assistant when the loos were last checked, to let them know that the soap dispenser was empty, but because of the lady trying to get in and out of the place I came away, and didnt want to appear to be a grump.... But better to bring this to your attention, than lose customers in...
Read moreI use Greggs a good few times a day every day as a driver I have been on holiday in Great Yarmouth. Today I went to use the toilet 04/11/24 around 10:30am I went to use the disabled toilet to find out I needed to use a code bursting for a toilet as I am disabled I went to ask for the disabled toilets key code to which I was given tried this a few times to find out the code don’t work went back to the counter to be told I had been given the normal toilet code as I didn’t look disabled by the girl serving at this point I’m crossing my legs as I have disability’s I understand why the doors stay locked but for some disabled people this code things a nightmare especially if your not very smart or in an urgent rush this should be changed to a door buzzer unlock for customers like some subways can unlock door...
Read moreReally disappointed..love greggs food and coffee and often stop here on a Friday afternoon but they close the rear seating area very early on a Friday it seems..refused a disabled lady seating there yesterday after she had purchased food even though others were seated in that area..I was told the toilets were closed also when I asked then a few minutes later another person had walked through and used them...then was asked to leave or sit at front of shop (that area was full and no seating available)after just finishing my food and coffee as they were apparently short of staff and needed to close that area early but this seems to be a regular Friday thing...just very...
