Having a pair of pre teen boys, I would have thought that going to the circus would be 'uncool'....how wrong am I?! 3 years ago we attended the Hippodrome Circus as something we hadn't done before (like most things that you do as a one off), this however has been a very different experience which saw us return again and again. Standing at 100 years old, the theatre is steeped in history and has been gorgeously, yet sympathetically preserved, beautifully presented with amazing staff make you want to return anyway before you even get to the fantastic seasonal shows. I am lucky enough to have seen all but the Easter show and the museum, which I will be seeing in Easter 2024, so have covered the Christmas special, Halloween Spooktacular and the Summer Spectacular...mine and my children's personal favourite is the Summer Spectacular, especially for the motorbikes! Gets me every time how they get more than 1 motorcycle and rider in a small steel ball. Little tip though (for the shows involving water), don't sit too close to the front if you don't like getting wet....but if you like getting wet and/or covered in other things, you will have such a laugh!

Quite simply the best circus in the UK. What makes it the best… the production and presentation. The venue itself is beautiful, the sound and lighting are second to none and Jack Jay is so natural and at home as the presenter/ringmaster. Within a few minutes you feel as though he’s your friend and you’ve known him all your life. It really is a truly magical place, and that’s before you see the world class acts in the show. We have seen the Summer Spectacular twice now and this was the first time we have been able to attend the Christmas Spectacular. (Unfortunately for us we live about 480 miles away). This years show even had a Flying Trapeze act which was fantastic, but the star of the show for me was the Star Catcher… Whether you are a fan of circuses like me or have never been to one in your life, I can’t recommend this show highly enough - It’s truly a world class production and it’s here in the UK. ♥️🎪♥️🎪♥️🎪

Wow wow wow.... Me and my partner was only in Great Yarmouth for 1 night for a quick get away for a night and we decided to spend our night watching the show!!! WE WAS NOT LET DOWN by the entertainment of the show. From start to end we was laughing and smiling from ear to ear. Each and every show/act done absolutely amazing and we had some absolutely brilliant seats at the front of the show so we saw everything up close which was great. My partner facetimed our daughter who is 15 during a part of one of the acts and she was like ohhhhh I wanna go lol... so we are coming back again to watch the show again with our daughter in tow. Each and everyone of you guys are totally amazing and we can't wait to watch it all over again tomorrow night (27th). Definitely a 5* from us and I'm sure our daughter will say the same. Thanks guys.. keep up the fantastic work ❤️👌

Saw the Summer Spectacular at the Hippodrome Circus. Amazing family show. Wonderful atmosphere. Quite amazing to be in one of the UKs only remaining purpose built circus. Has a lot of character. Show was Spectacular, a good mix of entertainment and highly dangerous routines. For those who struggle to watch acrobats at height carrying out really dangerous routines there is definitely moments you will cover your eyes. But wow incredible. Compares of the show were hilarious, some good sketches and comedy. And with the stage (ring) that sinks to become a water pool it is pretty cool for the finale. Only reason why not 5, and may seem trivial, is the seats are not the most comfortable, and toilets weren't the best.

Great evening in a fabulous old building with some good acts and a fantastic water show at the end. We paid for the best seats but could easily have saved the couple of quid and sit higher up as the view would have been identical. Everyone was very friendly and no fuss about taking photos etc. The backstage museum afterwards was a pleasant surprise to explore more of the building and also a chance to see some cast members hanging around. My only complaint would be the live drums played over the soundtrack which was cheesy, distracting and often out of time. The water show was a very impressive way to finish, although now concerned Blackpool has stopped theirs since you claim to have the only one!

Such a great show and atmosphere! From all the actors, stage design, costume design and the acrobats it was such a joy to see. It felt like all the actors and acrobats were having so much fun performing and everyone were so friendly and welcoming. No other way to describe it other than: Wow. Went to see their Pirate show and sat at the very first row right in front of the stage; by far the best seats in my opinion but there doesn't seem to be a single bad seat. Anywhere you'll sit will guarantee you an amazing view! The show had something for everyone from little kids to adults so you are bound to be entertained! Will definitely want to see more of their performances!
