Having a family boating holiday with my disabled son, wheelchair bound mother, my beautiful daughter and my partner. We came across this restaurant and it was set apart from all the fast food restaurants. I went inside to enquire if we could have a table, she said that we would have to sit outside and although it was very chilly we were ok to eat outside as we don’t really eat fast food. The restaurant left us sat outside, gave new comers tables inside and when we asked if we could sit inside we were told no due to the wheelchair. We sat in the cold for a further 40 minutes waiting for a menu. They never cleaned the table of the previous occupant so after an hour we were sitting at a table with dirty glasses and were so cold. My son who has Down syndrome, had an asthma attack and broke down in tears with the cold. We really love Greek food and have always had great experiences in the restaurants we visited but this one has left me disappointed. This is my elderly mums final holiday as she has terminal cancer and we wanted to make it special for her. I can’t even say that it was our attire as we were all well dressed and we are extremely polite. I just think that they didn’t want my son and my mum in there which is shocking and shouldn’t happen in this...

The drinks were offered and served quickly whilst we browsed the more than adequate menu. There is an obvious Greek edge to the offerings with Kleftiko, Moussaka and stiffado all on offer. We agreed, to share a starter of whitebait, which came promptly to the table fresh and tasty, although a small quantity of brown bread and butter or similar would have completed the dish, we devoured the little critters with relish. For mains my wife plumped for the lamb chops with chips, vine tomatoes and mushroom. A hearty meal, with three well cooked and tasty chops. I went for the cod with a salad and new potatoes, again extremely well cooked, and one of the best dishes I've had in a restaurant for some time. We had a couple of drinks with our meal, but declined dessert even though the menu and the friendly waiter encouraged us on. The restaurant was understandably very quiet due to weather etc, but we enjoyed the time we spent there and would/will...
Read moreBrilliant food and child friendly environment. We were desperately looking for a restaurant to feed two hungry adults and tired, heading towards crabby 2 year old and 5 year old, after our planned lunch stop let us down. They have a great children's menu with all the favourites of sausage, pizza, burgers, scampi, chicken nuggets, bolognese etc, about £6 including juice, good sized portions, served within 15 mins of ordering. They have high chairs and were completely unfazed by us getting up and walking around with our 1 year old to keep him entertained. The environment was relaxed and friendly. Our grown up food was also very good, a wide range of choices with a set menu or a la carte and specials of the day. The dessert menu looked amazing but very sadly we didn't have the time to stay for a second course. I don't know if we will be back in Great Yarmouth anytime soon but if we are then we will definitely make this our first choice for food. Strongly...
