The most disappointing breakfast experience. Service slow, and the staff were wearing their outdoor coats and one of them was wearing clothes which were not clean. My mug had tea/ coffee stains on it when it arrived which were old ones.. The breakfast was poorly presented and the toast didn't arrive until the breakfast was almost finished. A ham and cheese toastie was barely toasted and it was on thin sliced white bread, my granddaughter was very disappointed. It was inedible, and the staff had to go across the road to buy the bread and ham . There was no bottled water, and a limited choice of drinks. The place itself was not particularly clean, although the table was ok. The toilets were not hygienic, so don't use them.. This cafe came recommended as being the best greasy spoon in Yarmouth. I was keen to find out. The menu was vast and prices ranged. Not the cheapest I'd been to but fair and competitive. I ordered full English with drink cost about a fiver. Grabbed a free newspaper settled in.. Meal very nice. I stop to check my phone cutlery placed down no where near finished and I got asked. Came here this morning originally thought it was closed as the sign wasnt changed, when going in my dad ordered 2 breakfasts, we were served with something completely different. When we queried and explained the mistake the woman behind the counter got VERY defensive and quite aggressive. She was adamant it was us who ordered those breakfasts and we ordered wrong.
