The worst restaurant I have ever been to. PLEASE AVOID. I regularly go to the gym next to the restaurant and after one time I know I was too tired to cook so I went there to try it out. The first time I ordered a lasagna, food was ok at best but was not worth the price you pay for. Staff was pushy so I felt forced to also order a garlic bread. Staff then ignores you when you want to pay the bill even when they are not busy.
I thought maybe they were having a rough day and I thought I’ll give them another chance. I went back a few weeks later and ordered the bbq grill. Thinking it’s very hard to get it wrong. I WAS MISTAKEN. In the menu it said the meat was fresh and well grilled. THE FOOD WAS THE WORST. It was bland, and chicken was dry and the inside was COLD. Leading me to think that the food must of been frozen and threw onto the grill for a few minutes. The bbq sauce was also too strong but was the only thing that made the dry cold chicken better to eat.
I ask everyone to avoid this restaurant. This is my first google review and that really says something because I normally let restaurants go if I had a bad experience but this is a really bad place to go if you want to go for a nice date or good Italian food. Instead go to Zizzi or Jamie’s Italian or any restaurants in the town centre. Which I promise is better than...
Read moreBeen a few times now with my family. No problems with the staff; its a hard job to do. But quite honestly; I have never seen such a badly run and organised restaurant as this. 1st time we went we waited nearly 50 mins for our pizzas; the manager was so apologetic we got a 50% discount. Second time; they didnt have half of the items on the menu; and the ones they did have they rationed; and it took 1 hr 45 mins to actually get something to eat; which by the way wasnt particulary pleasent on the pallett. In the end we got our bill written off completly for that so ended up eating for free. And the last and most recent time we visited, my calaozone was soggy and the dough was raw, the kids pizzas had so much flour on them it was ridiculous, and the choice of kids ice cream was that from a tub of what looked like walls frozen supermarket tub ice cream.
And for the price of nearly 50 quid; i think its appalling what you get.
They have changed the menu from a bad one; to a terrible one, and to top it all the tables were filthy.
They really need to look at these reviews and...
Read moreService was shockingly slow to begin with. Every member of staff looked like they were about to have a nervous breakdown, they were that overloaded. We were asked to sit at the bar until a table became available but in 10 minutes were not offered a drink. When we were finally seated, we again had to wait about 15 minutes for a server to become available. The food when it did arrive was decent enough and extremely filling - the portions were perhaps a little too big if anything, and once our server had completed the check for a 20+ party on another set of tables, she was able to provide friendly and attentive service to us. The inclusion of pay by app is a nice touch, especially when the serving staff are very run off their feet. I will say, however, if you're the misanthropic sort like me, the 4-times-an-hour 90dB "happy birthday" routine gets old very quickly and is actually quite a detractor from the overall experience for anyone not in the birthday group. The experience may have been different if it had been less busy, so your...
