The Shahin — Restaurant in Guildford

Will not be ordering take away or visiting here ever again. Been loyal customers with my family since it first opened. Horrible experience tonight and cost me £117 . It was empty when we walked in at 8pm,staff looked irritated and annoyed. We were rushed through our meal ,plates taken away to soon by irritable waiter. We were aware that you shut at 22.00, got given bill at 21.30 without asking for it, asked for coffee got told no. Different waiter came over and said he would " allow us " coffee. It was a Birthday meal.Was only 3 of us and one other table. Lovely Indian restaurant and take away that's been open for years, with great food and a surprisingly quiet uptake on weeknights. There is good reason the Shahin has remained while other Chinese and Indian take aways have folded just a few doors down...

A favourite of ours to visit for sure, I wouldn't like to count how many duck biryani meals I've eaten there!

Ask about their discount card if you live nearby. I had one for at least 5 years and it was such good value I barely are out anywhere else in that time :D
