ALERT WARNING - ORIGINAL IS AT THE BOTTOM IF THIS REVIEW I HAVE HAD TO PAY £10 AGAIN FOR A MILD GENERAL THAI AS I ASKED FOR THAI GENERAL WITH NO SPICE AS MY WIFES ALLERGIC TO SPICEY HOT FOODS. MILDS GOOD HAS NO CHILLI FLAKES OR POWDER IN IT.

THEY MADE IT MEDIUM WITH SPICE SAID ABOUT WHAT THEYVE DONE IT HAD TO BE MILD NO SPICE AGAIN AS SHE WAS HAVING A REACTION TO SPICES TO THE ONE WE JUST BOUGHT SHE ONLY HAD 2 BITS OF CHICKEN THEY SAID SORRY BUT I HAD TO PAY FOR IT AGAIN IF I WANTED MILD. SO I HAD TO EAT IT AND HAVE BEEN VOMITTING IN THE HOUR DONT THINK IT WAS COOKED THROUGH PROPERLY .... DEFINITELY THINK TWICE BEFORE AND AFTER ORDERING OR GOING THEIR I WONT BECAUSE ITS A CON TO THE CONSUMER .... NOT HAPPY NOT TO RECOMMEND. UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. SHOULD AT LEAST HAVE OFFERED HALF PRICE FOR THE PROPER ONE OR FOR A REPLACEMENT. NO I HAD TO PAY AGAIN. BETTER OFF MAKING MY OWN OYSTER SAUCE WITH LIGHT SOYA AND TOUCH OF WATER WITH DASH OF PREMIUM SOYA IN PAN LIKE ALL STIR FRYS CHOPPED RED AND GREEN PEPPERS A SHALLOT QUARTERED AND 45 ANGLE CUT SPRING ONIONS, CHOPPED GARLIC CLOVE 2 GRATES OF GINGER DASH OF HONEY WELL MIXED. I COULD DO BETTER WITH BATTERED PORK OR CHICKEN AND FRESH HYDRATED RED DRAGON NODDLES ONLY COSTS £2.30 @ HOME. WHAT A CON. CON BECAYSE I WAS INSULTED WHEN HE DEMANDED I ORDERED MEDIUM I ORDERED THE ONE THAT HAD NO SPICE BECAUSE MY WIFES REACTIONS TO SPICE.

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Thai Express in Guildford during a brief visit with my family.

We stopped by for lunch and enjoyed the Pad Thai Prawn and Pad Sew Chicken. I must say, the food was absolutely delicious and far surpassed many other restaurants I have visited. The flavours were authentic, and the dishes were prepared to perfection.

The restaurant itself is well designed, creating a pleasant and comfortable dining environment. The staff were exemplary—highly professional, well trained, and exceptionally interactive. Despite it being a busy time, the waiting time was minimal, which added to the overall positive experience. The welcoming atmosphere made us feel truly valued as customers.

The menu was straightforward and easy to select from, with a smartly designed quick bite section catering perfectly to those who may be short on time but still wish to enjoy full flavours. This thoughtful attention to customer needs is commendable.

I would highly recommend Thai Express to anyone who appreciates unique and authentic cuisine. I am certainly planning to return soon. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

I tried this place twice in a week as I had an uber eats deal and so wanted to get a range of items before making a decision. I will say this is distinctly Thai food in that the menu does mainly lend itself to Thai items as opposed to generic Asian/Chinese items. I tried the most popular dishes according to the app and will say the food was decent at first try, with the wings being coated in a rather nice sauce. However, I was a bit disappointed that I had picked the spiciest option and it barely had a hint of such. The second time I brought this up in the order notes as I ordered the noodles and wings only to find that not only was the food not at all spicy, it was really quite bland and the wings were sauceless and dry. I had thought at first what I was missing was a kick in the meal but the repeat order showed me that a lot was lacking in taste and flavour and so whilst I give this 4* for the price I paid it should be noted there was a heavy discount in that...
