Most of the reviews are so positive, so I believe I must have just been unlucky with timing. I walked in to a 2/3 (downstairs) restaurant with (I think) 4 members of staff to be seen. All were busy as I entered. I waited a while and caught attention to get a table for 1 on my lunch break. I said to the waited as soon as I was seated 'I can order straight away really as I can't take much longer than half an hour'. He said 'yes' but then walked away and left me...I then spent say 8 mins trying to catch someone's attention to order (I had chosen before I entered the building really). I have to iterate that I do understand places get busy but my point is I tried to check at the beginning that this time frame would be ok, and try to order ASAP... Usually this works. Eventually I ordered, but then noticed my spoon on the table had food marks on it...when my food came the polite young waiter gave me a new spoon. I ate, the food was good but no better than the other 2 Korean restaurants in Guildford which I have been to many times without any issues at all. When I finished I was already late but couldn't find anyone to pay, there was just one lady behind the bar. I went up to ask her if I could pay...she said she'd bring the bill to me. She did, I got my card out to pay, but then then went upstairs. There was then no staff member downstairs, I really just wanted to pay and leave. After around 4 minutes I decided to write my details on the receipt to take payment. I left the receipt on till and went to leave THEN she saw me and ran downstairs. At Atto the price is similar but you get much more food for similar dish, and Hanki it's about 1/4 cheaper for similar dish and a bit bigger. Their service has been better at the other 2 despite at times only being one member of staff serving. Really I shouldn't have paid the service charge. I believe the issue was poor communication and seems staff taking breaks at the same time, as I said went from 4 members of staff downstairs when I arrived to 0 ( seemed one upstairs). I think I just came at...

I used to live in Korea so I miss Korean food and lot. Found this place with a very high review and not disappointed. 1st walking into the restaurant they have a Korean style photo booth. And then I met with Ash, he's very nice and friendly and gave me a very good service... out of my expectation. I honestly feel like I am in Korea 🇰🇷. Korean people are very kind and yes he is! I took quite a long time to choose the menu but can't decided because I walked here for Korean BBQ but they have a set of 2 so I was looking for something else because I really want to eat various kind of menu and I can't decided because I wanted to eat a lot... 🤣 So I had to tell Ash that I came for Korean BBQ but with the set, I must not be able to finish so he suggested me to order 1 plates of meat and then the chef will cook for me. 🙏 While I'm waiting for food, I saw this robot 🤖 moving around serving food so high-tech and so cute! 😍 Futuristic like in Korea... When the food arrived, the taste is super original like when I ate in Korea... I would give here 10 out of 5 if I could!!!
I hope to be back here anytime soon but next time I'll come more than 1 person so I could try more than 1 dishes. It would be nice if they'll have something like Korean tapas/small starter for fried chicken, pizza pajoen & etc. Because like me when I miss Korean food and I wanted to eat everything but a little of each. Maybe they have it but I didn’t look carefully or ask Ash. 😅 Well, Thank you for yummy food and friendly and super kind service from Ash again... 🙏😋🙏 I'll come back here again...

The restaurant features sleek, modern decor with traditional touches that create a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere.
The highlight, of course, is the BBQ. Each table is equipped with a built-in grill, allowing you to cook your own meats to perfection. The menu boasts a variety of options, from juicy marinated short ribs (galbi) to flavorful spicy pork (dwaeji bulgogi). The quality of the meat is excellent, and the freshness is evident in every bite.
Accompanying the BBQ is a generous assortment of banchan (side dishes) that includes kimchi, pickled radishes, and seasoned vegetables. These sides are not only delicious but also complement the grilled meats perfectly. The dipping sauces and lettuce wraps add an extra layer of flavor and texture to the meal.
Service by pratit gurung at Yori is attentive without being intrusive. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to offer recommendations or assist with the grilling process if needed. The restaurant also offers a range of traditional Korean beverages and desserts to round out your meal.
While the overall experience is top-notch, the prices are on the higher side, especially for the premium cuts of meat. However, the quality and experience justify the cost, making it a worthwhile splurge for special occasions or a...
