The worst experience we’ve ever had! I feel really sad that I have to make this massive complaint but I am afraid this is the only way to refrain people from being racists. My mother had an appointment for a COVID-19 PCR test booked on Thursday 3rd June 2021 at 12.20pm in order to be able to fly back to Greece on Saturday the 5th June 2021. She attended the appointment with my 11 month old son 10 minutes prior to her appointment time. Because she doesn’t speak English I was on hold in case she needed help. She made herself known to the pharmacist when she arrived at 12.10pm and kindly asked her to speak to me on the phone in order to help with the translation. She then took her into another room and introduced her to another colleague that was carrying out the Covid tests. Unfortunately, his behaviour based on what my mother said was really bad. He started huffing and puffing as soon as he realised that she doesn’t speak English. I do understand that it might be frustrating, however this behaviour is unacceptable. My mother had every legal right to have an interpreter and if not at least use the language line. After being with her for ten minutes trying obviously to delay her appointment called me at 12.30 to ask if I had the order number which I gave to him straight away. He then said that we should have had uploaded a picture of her passport online, which I did again in seconds. At the end he said to me , oh is already 1 minute past and I cannot do your mothers test because I’m already in someone else’s slot. I kindly explained to him that my mother was physically there for her appointment 10 mins prior and that would have been unfair because she didn’t miss her appointment. Very rudely said that it is up to his discretion if he would do the test or not. I kindly explained to him again that I’m a doctor I work for the NHS and I know exactly how the system works and of course that we NEVER DNA OR REBOOK patients if they are there prior for their appointments. He wouldn’t take a word , even when I asked him very politely and kindly to just get on with the test. He was on the phone with me for approximately 10 minutes begging him to do it, when previously he said to me that it was already 1 minute past 12.30 and we were already in someone else’s slot. I was really sad that I had to ask my 52 year old mother to take my son 11 months old and leave empty handed. We were distressed and totally discriminated. He had racist attitude. I wouldn’t recommend to...

If i could say 0 stars i would. My friend is a Gypsy, but not once in her life has she stolen anything from boots or anywhere. everytime we go into town we always brows in boots but its happened the last few times in there security have followed us, fair enough we are 18 and young and they want to stop people from shoplifting and we werent so we didnt care about being followed as we weren't doing anything wrong. but on monday (13/11/23) we were looking at the tooth paste section to see if they had the hismile vanilla flavour. they didnt. my friend also wanted to grab a pregnancy test for herself but after walking past the security door i heard someone come out. i kid you not the guy was no more then two steps behind us. we got to the pregnacy test section and he said to us "you seem to be going everywhere i am" in responce i questioned him being pregnant. he was stading with us while my friend was looking at the tests which made her feel very uncomfortable. after a while of him just standing there we decided to go to superdrug and the way the saff was treating her because she was dressed like a gypsy he clearly thought she was going to do something wrong. when we were leaving he started to call my friend a "dirty gypsy" and screaming across the store floor that we were stealing. this isnt okay to treat customers like this and i hope the...

I’ve been to boots multiple times , this time I was with my partner . We we taking a video of the make to show my partners sister as she was not with us and we wanted to get things for her , we weren’t making a scene or anything . As my partner was walking around I noticed 2 blonde women talking at the counter by the ordinary and mid conversation ( which wasn’t work related at all ) they stopped what they where doing and started freaking out over the fact that my boyfriend was just taking a video of the MAKEUP not the people , to show his sister . They then decided to call an older women to now get involved . I saw a situation that was about to get blown way out of proportion and I said very politely that he was just taking a video to show his sister . Then on the way out I could hear that she was speaking about about us . She was to busy putting on store make up and not doing her job. I find that this was very rude and feel like she mad a judgment on my boyfriend just because of his culture which I find appalling. After that we haven’t gone back in because I don’t believe a women who discriminates should work in a store that’s meant to be helpful. Customer service in boots is not the best and most ladies there...
