I recently visited this new store and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff and the cozy inviting atmosphere. The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air amongst the crispness of new fixtures and fittings.

The baristas at Bewiched were not only incredibly friendly but also highly skilled, With their great levels of customer service, speed and knowledge.

Speaking of coffee, the quality at Bewiched was more than exceptional and in my opinion beats the high street giants. Whether you prefer a classic cappuccino, a bold espresso, or a creamy latte, Bewiched had it all. They even offered a variety of dairy-free milk alternatives, catering to different dietary needs.

Apart from the coffee, Bewiched also had a mouthwatering selection of pastries and tray bakes, toasties, paninis and milkshakes.

What truly sets Bewiched apart is the ambiance. The shop was tastefully decorated with cozy seating areas, high end furniture, and warm lighting. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the coffee and catch up with some work.

Ordered a flat white to take out on a saturday last week, it was bitter as hell, likely over extracted, the following day I ordered another flat white to take out and the milk was just dumped in the cup with absolutely no care. Tried a final time today - Monday, and they’ve managed to make a flat white even worse, it was like a long americano, wet, no silky foam, tasted no better than an instant coffee at home. Left an awful chemical bitter taste in my mouth. Regrettably the verdict is ‘all the gear and absolutely no idea’. Can’t blame the girls working there, they simply don’t know any better. Just pure lack of training, experience and skill. Being a barista is a profession which takes time to learn, it’s an artform, and requires serious training and passion. Really really lovey staff, and the best coffee you can get in the area. Really awesome milkshakes too.

Shop is full of light and very open inside, really nice place to hang out for a coffee, very unlike its neighbours.

Only falls short in the usual places these style coffee shops do; Truly awful, cheap, nasty royalty free music tries its best to ruin the atmosphere. And they’re very clearly understaffed for the massive foot traffic they get on weekends. However the staff have never not been extremely lovey, however busy i’ve seen it be.

Long story short there’s room for improvement, but it’s definitely the nicest coffee shop in the area.
